I said something stupid, I just want to make sure I apologize if I offended anyone.What kind of apology is that?! Why not say, "It was unbelievably wrong of me to refer to my President as a monkey. Mr. President, I sincerely apologize for that statement, and I hope you'll forgive me. To my viewers, I apologize for offending you and being unprofessional, and I ask you to forgive me as well."
