Oh, I can see by your choice of candidates, you’re not easily fooled. /s
“Ann Coulter isn’t always right, but she was right about this: “
Picture rule!!!
When we select a candidate for the Office of President, we unfortunately have to mark on a curve. If we watied for the perfect candidate, no one would get nominated. Christ hasn’t announced His Second Coming to my knowledge.
Jonesie! There is nothing simple about you 8>)
Paul/ Kacinich 2008!! Why settle for one nut when you can get two for the same price?
Because they have nothing!
It doesnt bother you at all that you, a good Mormon, support a guy who certainly seems to this outside observer, to be a terrible Mormon
Frist of all Mitt NEVER enacted laws that promoted murder of unborns.
All he ever promised was to up hold the Fed Laws that were instituede before he became Governor which the governor have no authority to over turn a Federal law!
When Mitt was a bishop and a stake president in the Church he always counsel those expecting to carry the baby to full term and choose adoption. instead of abortion
When he had the opportunity he always choose Life.
I am sure he “don’t”...
Resty, you have lost your ever lovin’ mind...
Oh, I can see by your choice of candidates, youre not easily fooled. /s

Other than the fact that you're trying to imply that Mr. Thompson voted against conviction ... which he did not.
Either give the whole truth, or say nothing. To deal in half-truths is to act like a Clinton, or various other brands of liar.
Why was it so easy for Fred to turn Blue in a Red state!
You are a hoot. I think I’ll stick with Rush and the other Reagan conservatives on this one.
You should try it. Conservatism is a great political position...
It is perfectly true that fidelity to the Constitution required the impeachment and conviction of Bill Clinton. It is equally true that fidelity to the Constitution required the rejection of McCain-Feingold.And in a better world no one who failed in either of those duties would be a serious contender for the Republican - indeed for any party nomination for PotUS. But in this world all Democrats were wrong on both of those issues - and no Democrat paid a price at the polls for it. Beyond that, we have a woman favored to win the Democratic nomination because she is married to the man any self-respecting senator would have voted to impeach.
We are left to sort out how bad a candidate can be on which issues, and still have our support. Thompson has repented of McCain-Feingold, tho not on principle the way I would prefer. And he did at least vote for some articles of impeachment. And he is at least too conservative to have any hope of carrying NY and Massachusetts, which cannot be said of Guiliani or Romney, and he at least did not author McCain-Feingold as McCain obviously did.
I think I will will stick with doing the right thing for the right reason and not a lable!
It says a lot that you have to go back to a old thread like that...
Try joining us Conservatives in supporting the real deal, not one who wears conservatisim like a costume one would wear in a play.
If you are a conservitive that is...
Then leave Mitt, for the lable is all there is.
Of course you are a lost cause.
If the real conservatives of Free Republic and others like Tom McClintick and the Godfather of our movement Rush Limbaugh can’t show you the error of your ways, well you deserve to be part of the small group here who are foolish enough to buy Mitt as a conservative...
“Frist of all Mitt NEVER enacted laws that promoted murder of unborns.”
Wrong. On April 12, 2006 Governor Mitt Romney signed Commonwealth Care into law. Among its provisions is abortion for only a $50.00 copay. Nobody made Romney pick up that pen and sign cheap, universal abortions into law. Nobody. He could have vetoed it.
Spin all you want, but by any objective definition, that is strongly and materially supporting and enabling the murder of unborn babies, a sin in the Mormon church.
I, as a good Catholic, don’t support the bad Catholic, Giuliani. I do not understand how you, as a good Mormon, can support Romney.
So far contrary to what you say Rush never endorsed anyone yet I heard the show to...
I have a couple of suggestions...
You know what he said. It is there for all to see.
But like the polls here and Mitt’s own ACTIONS that have been covered here ad nauseum, ample evidence is not enough to cure the infatuation you Mitt folks have.
Pitty, many of you were once conservatives, ones I would not see as being easily distracted by shiny objects. Guess I was wrong on that count.
“I do my own homework instead of listening to edit clip or heresay!”
And I do mine, as well. I am not a recent FRed Thompson fan. I have followed him since I saw him on AFRTS during Watergate. So, I have a firm belief in him, his convictions, and his career.
It’s exactly as he says, he was the same then, as he is now, as he will be tomorrow...a principled Conservative.
Myth should really stay in the business world, where his deceptions are revered and rewarded.
