"he is a member of the LGBT Americans For Hillary Steering Committee and a co-chair on Hillary Clinton's National Military Veterans group."

And of course CNN had absolutely no idea, none at all.

And he is a phony general too!!! From the article, good research:

"He retired as a California Army National Guard colonel," said Campenni. "It is common at Guard retirement ceremonies to give an honorary promotion to colonels to the STATE rank of Brigadier General…[but] it has no meaning other than a fancy certificate for the wall and use of the title at local Guard functions."

Campenni said the rank of general is not federally recognized and the title can not be used or the rank worn outside the state. "

Kind of looks like it. He should be referring to himself as Colonel. That was his rank at retirement from the Army Reserves.

At least with Colonel Sanders, he used his “rank” to sell chicken. This guy’s using his “rank” to sell BS.

There’s a great deal of controversy brewing concerning implications that CNN not only stocked the audience at Thursday’s Democrat Presidential debate, but also controlled the questions attendees asked. Hillary: Planting for me, but not for thee

By Soren Dayton Posted in 2008 | Hillary Clinton — Comments (4) / Email this page » / Leave a comment »

To quote a somewhat heterodox Republican, “The beat goes on.” That is, plant-gate marches on. The Nation, that bastion of right-wing journalism is working on more examples of planted questions.

But Hillary’s dishonesty and artifice is only one part of the story. There’s also hypocrisy. You see, just last month, she attacked someone at a town hall for asking a question that she alleged was planted. Don’t believe me? Watch:

Read on for NBC’s take on this.

NBC described it as, “Clinton gets snippy with Iowan over Iran”:

Clinton accused the man of being a plant who had been sent to ask the question, to which he took exception, saying the question was a result of his own research.

“I apologize,” Clinton said, explaining that she had been asked the very same question in three other places.

So it is ok for her to plant questions, but not her opponents?

Imagine what she would do if she were actually ... President.

“Diamond v. Pearl” Student Blasts CNN-(CNN screened and gave out questions at the debate)

Maria Luisa, the UNLV student who asked Hillary Clinton whether she preferred “diamonds or pearls” at last night’s debate wrote on her MySpace page this morning that CNN forced her to ask the frilly question instead of a pre-approved query about the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository.

“Every single question asked during the debate by the audience had to be approved by CNN,” Luisa writes. “I was asked to submit questions including “lighthearted/fun” questions.

I submitted more than five questions on issues important to me. I did a policy memo on Yucca Mountain a year ago and was the finalist for the Truman Scholarship. For sure, I thought I would get to ask the Yucca question that was APPROVED by CNN days in advance.”

Friday, November 16, 2007 CNN Planted Questions For The Democrats? By Rob on November 16, 2007 at 03:52 pm 20 Comments Looks that way.

According to the MySpace page of the girl (one Maria Luisa) who asked Hillary the “diamonds or pearls” question, every question at the debate last night was staged.

Which is pretty pathetic. CNN should be ashamed of itself for perpetrating such a fraud on its viewers.

Also, though, I wonder if CNN extended this same courtesy to Republicans. For instance, CNN broadcast a debate in New Hampshire back in June where the Republican candidates took questions from the audience. Were those questions planted?

I wouldn’t be happy about it if they were, but I’m willing to be they weren’t. Which would be pretty telling, if true.

Her name is NOT Maria Luisa. That must be the name on her myspace page. According to the transcripts of CNN’s debates, her name is Maria Parra-Sandoval (which you can hear her say, anyway) and...she worked for Harry Reid.

http://cnnstudentnews.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0711/15/se.02.html

http://www.leg.state.nv.us/74th/Journal/Assembly/Final/AJ036.pdf

http://www.lasvegasnevada.gov/files/2005_CLA_Yearbook.pdf (page 23 has her picture, here)

Interestingly enough, Kalid Kahn, the man who asked the racial profiling question is the president of the Islamic Council of Nevada. Big dude. If you websearch, you can find possible connections to him and Harry Reid, as it appears Harry Reid visited the mosque.

http://www.lvmasjid.com/links/financial_needs.asp

Upon further search, and a link from someone on Ann Coulter’s forum, we will see that Maria Parra-Sandoval was an illegal alien, who came from Mexico as a child, but has since got her paperwork together.

However, it is no coincidence that that girl HAPPENED to be there, and HAPPENED to be picked to ask and HAPPENED to be called upon, yet HAPPENED to have worked for Harry Reid. If you websearch, you will find her name associated with him all over the internet.

Jeannie Jackson is a professional moonbat. There are too many links to put up, but we are currently searching about her possible connections to city council in a town just outside of Santa Ana, Ca. I will post that link if I find something that connects her.

Anwyay, I’m sick. I can’t beleive this is true. Do the research yourself, and you’ll see. Simply amazing.

http://www.lasvegassun.com/sunbin/stories/text/2006/apr/02/566679250.html

I appologize for not including this link. This is the last one about Maria being an illegal alien

I have done HOURS of research this afternoon. I’m sick at the connection. I’m sick because I haven’t got the resources to nail it in the nead. (I did however, email Matt Drudge and others).

Is there no end to what they’ll do? I mean, we can’t even get real people to ask real questions? These people were fake.

I’m currently researching, but apparently some of the names were changed from the transcripts, because in interviews, they’re different. Kalid Khan is seen in websearches as having the first name Mohammed. Chris Jackson is really Chris Gallagher. Maria Luisa is Maria Parra-Sandoval. This is sick. Why would they change the names?

I’m currently researching an other one, who appears to have political connections, too. I won’t mention it here, as I don’t know that for sure yet, I’m just 50/50 on that, but if I get more sure, I’ll be sure to post the link.

I will not let this go, I watched that debate, and I feel lied to and deceived.

Let me appologize for dominating this board- it isn’t what I intended to do. However, just when I think I’m going to take a break, more things keep tripping me up and I find out even more.

Why does everyone keep referring to her as Maria Luisa? Why because that’s her MIDDLE NAME! Maria Luisa Parra-Sandoval. Wanna see her picture again?

http://www.nhli.org/2005LLLfellows.htm

And if it didn’t get any better, Harry Reid has a listing of his staff:

http://www.zimbio.com/Senator+Harry+Reid+of+Nevada/notes/1/Senator+Reid+s+Staff

(Please note that when searching the two of them, do not include her middle name as they don’t use it in their records)

More interestingly enough, here’s more info (with PICTURE) of her scholarship write up. Sounds like a nice girl, but still a PLANT!

http://foundation.unlv.edu/casestudies/scholarships.html

If that weren’t enough, there have been apparent connections to the “unknown” woman who asked about the supreme court justices (which Suzanne Malveaux stepped all over), and according to Dan Riehl’s site, she is linked to the democratic party in ...*drumroll* ARKANSAS...Look it up! (she is listed as her name unknown in the CNN transcripts)

Man this just keeps getting better. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to sleep.

As promised, here is the link. The connection has been made and once everyone cathches up to Maria Luisa Parra- Sandoval, the DNC and possibly CNN is toast.

The insinuation I made earlier regarding a possible plant that had to do with the democratic party in Arkansas is none other than the supreme court questioner, Lashannon Spencer. Big wheel in the democratic party in LITTLE ROCK.

The connection was first made by a person commenting in the section on Dan Riehl’s site, then Dan made it, then Hot air picked it up. what I’m giving you here are MORe PICTURES! (Isn’t the internet great?????)

Talk About Planted Questions!!
Update: How fitting. CNN pulls out someone not to simply ask a question about Iran, but with absolute moral authority given her son’s service. And just as we learn that the IAEA has confirmed Iran’s having installed 3,000 centrifuges. CNN works to undermine our ability to respond just as it may become critical. Great, just great! Thanks, CNN.

CNN rolled out a Catherine Jackson to ask a question about Iran given that her son served three tours in Iraq.

Now when have I heard that before? How about in May. Thank you Harry Reid.

“My son was in Iraq three times,” said Catherine Jackson of Las Vegas. “I thank God he’s home now. Enough is enough. We need to bring our troops home.” Reid spokesman Jon Summers said Move America Forward was mischaracterizing Reid’s position. “It’s their right to make their feelings known, but most Nevadans agree with Senator Reid that it’s time to change course in Iraq,” he said.

WOLF WARNED: NO GANGING UP ON HILLARY IN VEGAS!

November 13, 2007

Clinton Staff Warns Blitzer: “Do not pull a ‘Russert.’”
From Drudge via NRO:

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer has been warned not to focus Thursday’s Dem debate on Hillary. ‘This campaign is about issues, not on who we can bring down and destroy,’ top Clinton insider explains. ‘Blitzer should not go down to the levels of character attack and pull ‘a Russert.’’

Jim Geraghty writes:

I can’t understand why any “top Clinton adviser” would be heard pre-emptively whining and issuing “warnings” to Wolf Blitzer. This all but guarantees that Blitzer has to hurl a bunch of hardballs Thursday night.

If Blitzer doesn’t, he’ll face the charges that he knuckled under worse than GQ in the face of Clintonite pressure. And those complaints won’t just come from the right — they’ll come from John Edwards, probably Barack Obama, and some corners of the MSM.

Wolf Blitzer Sneakily Screened Student Questions for Hillary in 2000
By Tim Graham

Created 2007-11-15 09:02

As the Democrats prepare for their latest CNN debate tonight, Wolf Blitzer has denied the Drudge Report’s bulletin that he was pressured by the Clinton campaign to avoid orchestrating a Hillary Clinton beat-down. But with all the controversy this week over the Clinton campaign planting college-age questioners in its events, our new book Whitewash [1] explains that in a 2000 CNN town meeting, Blitzer and CNN carefully screened questions for Hillary – and there were no scandal questions uttered – but Blitzer never told the audience:

On April 24, CNN held a town meeting for Hillary in prime time, at 10 p.m. Eastern at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and Wolf Blitzer claimed, “The format is open-ended.” But it was not. Buffalo News Washington bureau chief Douglas Turner reported that university officials submitted to CNN all the names of students attending, and that “questions from university students have been screened by CNN staff members.” University administrators gave CNN students’ phone numbers.

Turner called CNN’s behavior “slippery,” especially CNN’s calls for student questions on Tuesday afternoon for a Wednesday night broadcast. Although no one found evidence that Hillary received questions in advance, Turner suggested, “That’s an embarrassingly long period of time for mischief to occur.” Even if, CNN claimed, Mrs. Clinton had no control over the questions asked or which students were admitted into the audience, it seems odd that there were zero questions from students about any Clinton scandal. No student at the State University of New York at Buffalo was at all interested in scandals, so many of them so salacious, swirling around the Clintons?

In comments before, during, and after the event, Blitzer never explained that the questions and questioners were screened in advance. CNN’s Frank Buckley ended a story the morning after the town hall meeting with a very vague reference that Giuliani’s campaign, “in a statement issued earlier, described Mrs. Clinton’s event as carefully scripted, totally contrived, and utterly fake.” Surely it was that, but since Blitzer hadn’t mentioned the screening, CNN viewers didn’t have the information to fairly judge Giuliani’s contention.

CNN did more stage management still, excluding all reporters, with the exception of an Associated Press reporter and photographer, from the auditorium. Even the SUNY-Buffalo student newspaper was barred. In all of the overnight dispatches filed, the AP reporter, Marc Humbert, never mentioned the screened questions or the exclusion of his colleagues.

Humbert did find space for a man who disliked Clinton to praise Hillary: “She’s hot.” Here’s what Blitzer told CNN viewers before the debate:

The format is open ended. I’ll start off with a few questions of my own, some hopefully news-worthy kinds of questions, then we’re opening it up. There will be about 300, almost 400 people here and they’ll ask whatever is on their mind, whether it’s issues involving New York state, national issues, or international issues. Remember, a Senator from New York — every Senator deals with all these kinds of issues, and so I’m sure there will be a wide range of questions, and if necessary I will follow up and make sure that the necessary follow up is there as well.

But no troublesome scandal questions ever surfaced. Our original report from that time is here [2].

‘Campaign Operatives Are People Too’: CNN’s Cooper On Debate Questions

For the whole thing, go here, but I just had to share this priceless gem (my emphasis in bold). First Ham’s question, then Cooper’s answer:

Q: There’s been a bit of scandal about the screening that CNN did on its “undecided voters” for the last Democratic debate. The diamonds-and-pearls question was attacked by the questioner herself. Tonight’s CNN debate had a ‘Don’t Ask Don’t Tell’ question from a retired general. Apparently the general, Keith Kerr, is a member of the LGBT Americans For Hillary Steering Committee.

Kerr was in the audience and after Romney, Hunter and Huckabee answered his question, Kerr was asked if he received an answer to his question. Kerr took that opportunity to make a two or three minute speech in favor of gays serving openly in the military and taking the Republicans to task for not supporting that.

You have to hand it to them...the Hillary people are really good at planting questions. At least CNN didn’t identify him as an undecided voter.

UPDATE:

Commenter TheEJS points out that Kerr was part of Veterans for Kerry as well.

Too funny to be true, but it is:

"General Kerr" is a type of Black Hole.

This is the actual title of an article in Classical and Quantum Gravity: General Kerr–NUT–AdS metrics in all dimensions.

Notice, how appropriate the word "NUT" is even capitalized.

AND there is more:

From his bio, at the SDLN (the organization that is suing the gov to allow openly homosexuals to serve in the military):

http://www.sldn.org/templates/about/record.html?section=81&record=1151

“Brigadier General Keith H. Kerr entered the U. S. Army as a Private at Fort Ord, California, on 21 September 1953. After completing basic and advanced training, he served with the 513th Military Intelligence Group in Germany during the Cold War. Upon release from active duty, he continued to serve in the U. S. Army Reserve and was commissioned a First Lieutenant in June 1960. “

IOW — he left active duty as a 2nd Lt and was only promoted to 1st Lt, AFTER he retired from active duty. He got all his promotions, up to Col, while serving in the US Army Reserve.

Then AFTER he retired from there as a Col, THEN he joined the California State Military Reserve (California National Guard, where he was promoted to General — but as the posted article says, that rank can only be used in CA.

Campenni said the rank of general is not federally recognized and the title can not be used or the rank worn outside the state.

BUSTED!!!!!

Anyone have a pic of him in uniform? I’d be FASCINATED to check-out the decorations he’s wearing.

“What the heck is the “Californian National Reserve”?”

It’s affiliated with the Californian Natural Guard.

I know, sounds phony. But there is an organization by the same name. It's membership is limited to about 100. Hardly a functional military unit.

Maybe it's a gay unit? Like the Amazons.

That’s great.

Yes, it was answered. All the idiotic questions were answered.
I would have answered the gays in the military question with a statement about open homosexuality being a distraction to the job at hand, and leave it at that. No further explanation is needed.

Recall that “General” Louis Onorato Giuffrida, Ronald Reagan’s first director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency attained the rank of colonel in 1968 but was eventually promoted to the rank of general in the California National Guard.

Be careful of these California Generals - they are like Kentucky Colonels.

... there is no such thing as the California National Reserve of which Kerr claimed to be a former member.

... Kerr is not even a retired Army General.

... “He retired as a California Army National Guard colonel”

In other words, he is a fraud.
