“Huckabee make Mitt look like Ned the second-grader...watch the polls go up for Huck and down for Mitty.”

It’s going to be the other way around. Huckabee looked like the preacher sham that he is. Oh yeah, I forgot, he’s going to get rid of the IRS. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

“Contractors should be liable, not homeowners”

Both should be liable when it involves permanent relationships like Romney’s.

I am a contractor in Southern California, these guys weren’t only illegals, they were Central American not Mexican, and everyone worked for cash only, someone who can’t spot that in 8 years is doing it on purpose.

Throw that in with Mitts pro amnesty views and it makes him a liar (again).

Let me second your analysis.

I'd like a Thompson/Hunter ticket.

I listen to Rudy and I don't hear or see someone who I would trust in the White House. There's something missing and I don't mean just his decidedly non-conservative record. I sense an integrity gap or some disconnect between his ego and his skill set. I'm fearful he'll win the nomination due to the 9/11 aura.

Mitt's a handsome candidate but there's a slickness to him. He appeared quite defensive and again intimated he'd defer to lawyers. On tough questions he fumbles and it feels like he's trying to calculate his words, not speaking from his heart or from a core philosophy.

McCain is done; I even felt bad for him. Ron Paul is a freak show. Tancredo is redundant. Huckabee probably helped himself tonight with some but not with me.

Born again comes from the mouth of Jesus Himself. Born-again Christians didn’t make that up. Jesus told Nicodemus that in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, he had to be born again. When Nicodemus said, “Say what? How can one be born again?” Jesus explained that you are born again of water and of spirit.

Once Christ becomes your Savior, and the Holy Spirit takes over, you are a “new creation” in Christ—born again.

Christ said it. We believe it.

Do you really understand what the IRS is and what it does? Your post would indicate “No”

Actually her post indicates a far better grasp of the facts then yours. No matter what tax system you replace the current system with you are going to have an IRS type organization to police it.

But that the dirty little secret of you Paulbots try to hide isn't it? You fools actually think you can just abolish the whole Govt. Just make it go way by wishing it were so.

Even if you elected your god, Der Paul, he is not going to be able to do anything fundamentally change the current structure of our Govt. Paul is exactly the sort of reckless demagogue our systems of checks and balances is designed to restrain.

There are a number of things the Feds have to do. National Defense, Border Security, etc. No matter how much a President might wish to simply issue a decree and abolish this or that, they simply cannot.

To do the things the Feds have to do, you have to have revenues. To make sure those revenues are paid, you are going to need something like the IRS to police the system.

It not 1792. You Paulbots cannot simply turn the clock back to your fantasy revisionist history land by screaming loudly and threatening to hold your breath until you turn blue.

Our system of laws does not work that way.

Hunter can answer the tough questions, because he’s so honest. He doesn’t need to spin, because he doesn’t want to. He WANTS his true positions known.

Duncan Hunter always has a positive attitude, and they interviewed Duncan Hunter on CNN a little while ago, and he said it was fun, and the questions were better, and classier, than the Dem questions; then he joked, but maybe that’s because I’m a Republican.

Hunter said he uses his own speeches, and has folks from San Diego following him around sometimes, carrying signs.

He said that he has a lot of military experience, was Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee and got body armor, etc. to protect our troops, and protects American steel, etc. so that our workers will have those jobs.

btw, I heard Dr. Richard Land tell a caller that Duncan Hunter was just as pro-life as Huckabee, but I don’t know if most voters realize that.

Hey NN,

My husband was there too.

They actually caught the Baker/Thompson moment on TV...but not the part about Cooper being married, LOL.

I think McCain was booed a couple times when he was disagreeing with Paul. I’ve seen Paul supporters lining the streets with signs (near 4th Street and about 2nd Ave S) a couple of times when I was in the downtown area around 5 PM, so I think there’s a fairly large contingent of Paul supporters in the area.
