I think this would be most admirable (not the abort, but the staying childless) if they were going to take in foster children or adopt to help raise a better future for the unwanted children that are already here.

The Moslems of the world are so backward that they qualify as that perennial liberal hero, the Noble Savage. Moslems are part of nature like plants and trees to be left alone to grow and flourish naturally whereas Christians and other Modern Men are an alien imposition on nature and should be eliminated.
Most of them believe that there are too many people, that the world can properly support 50 million or 500 million. People who see it that way always believe that they are naturally in that 50 or 500 mil. They believe that it is the rest of the world that should commit suicide for the good of the planet.It only takes a tiny bit more pondering to go the next step and come to believe that the putative members of that elite should take positive steps to bring low population Utopia.

I didn’t mean to reference the abortion, which I am 100% against.
But the vasectomy operations seemed to be a good choice.

The good news is this makes people who spend their entire paychecks on scratch-offs, beer and w.w.e. pay-per-views seem not quite so stupid anymore.

I suppose they are counting their (dead) child’s carbon credits too so they can claim to be carbon neutral...
Abortion is 100% selfish, it is all about maintaining the lifestyle you currently have.
