“Unless you send us trillions of dollars, you are doomed”
Exactly! Before some other catastrophe strikes.
On a side note: We’ve spent the last 150 yrs screwing up the planet but, we can fix it in 10?

Asked whether the report was alarmist, Watkins said it was based on science and evidence. "I defy anybody to speak to the victims of droughts and floods, like we did, and challenge our conclusions on the long-term impact of climate disasters," he said. Dear victims of droughts, move closer to sources of water. Dear victims of floods, move away from the water. Dear UNDP, stop talking out of your arse.
 Best regards,
 Flash

The UN should stop the United Nations from it’s own messes within the next 10 days.......

The “earth abideth forever”, the U.N. does not!

The key word is “collective.” Collectivism is what is at stake for the UN, not global warming.

Climate change threatens to condemn millions of people to poverty, the UNDP said. And misguided efforts by mankind to control that which cannot be controlled promises to condemn billions of people to poverty.

    Okay, it’s fixed.
No need to thank me, I simply used the same science Al Gore used to start this whole hysteria. Still, feel free to send me money for any non-carbon offsets you would like to purchase. It will go to a good cause, trust me.
Now that it’s fixed we can all go back to normal living....

The USA and China both produce about the same amount of CO2 which country is going to stop?

And what, exactly, does the U.N. intend to do about the warming climate and rising CO2 levels on Mars?

You’re not up to date. Global warming will be blamed for global cooling, so it’s a win-win for the left. No matter what happens, cold or heat, it’s all global warming so they now have a never ending cause.
This is why Democrats have to be put in charge of everything. Only Democrats and other radical liberals are equipped to both resolve this issue and run the world. Ah, utopia is coming if only the rest of us would just accept it.

While driving in my car by myself (car pools are for hippies and poor people) I started thinking about the harmful effects of walking and using a bike.
If you think about people need to use more oxygen during periods of exertion, therefore by running and using a bike we expel far more CO2 into the atmosphere, consume more food and water thereby producing more waste and methane gases.

They won't be happy until our standard of living is
lower than China's.
But then we can become a mfg giant, ship stuff the other way and collect yuan after it becomes the reserve currency /sarc.

    My version:
“Unless the international community agrees to cut funds for the UN by half over the next year, the world political climate is likely to encounter massive, global-wide, large-scale bureaucratic meddling that will produce human and economic setbacks and irreversible catastrophes, from which civilization may not recover.”

I recieved a phone call from an environmental group asking for a donation and I asked 1 question of this gentlemen on the line, With all the sacrifices America is doing and will do in the future who is stopping China and other major polluters who are doing much more damage than we could ever do and who are communist countries that will do as they please no matter what anyone says. His reply was, “we have to lead by example and hopefully they will follow”. LAME!LAME!LAME! I personally think this whole global warming thing is a ruse and we all fell for it. Al and his minions are creating a whole new industry that is making mega bucks on the normal cycle of the planet. All we need is a good volcano eruption, spewing tons of ash and debris into the atmosphere to cool the planet down a bit if we are so concerned with the green house effect
