I watch Fox only in snippets... with their rootie shilling and Fred bashing... screw Fox! They lost me as a loyal original viewer.

I've been watching Foxnews less and less for about 2 years. What I can't stand about Foxnews is their absolutely gratuitous use of every "hot chick" they can find to be the daily "expert" on every issue ranging from medicine, politics, finance, law, etc.

Just look at the new Fox Business Channel. One of the hottie anchors is a 27 yr old blonde hottie! The expect the demographic that would watch a business channel to get their financial news from a girl that was in college merely 5 years ago? Gimme a break. If they want me to start taking them seriously again, they need to get some more "gravitas" and less eye candy.

That guy should share notes with the guy from Herndon, Virginia, who also got kicked out two years ago as Mayor, for being pro-illegal.

And compare notes with Hazelton, PA mayor Lou Barletta who is anti-illegal and was written in by both D's and R's.

They just don't get it and prolly never will.

said activist Sylvia Martinez. "People didn't believe [in Selders] because he is white, because he is a Republican, because he is a businessman," she said. "I don't think a lot of people believed he was running for his life."

This is how the racists vote, folks. Imagine when we add another 150 million of these to our tight 50/50 voters. It'll be RATs forever and ever!

It's wonderful that this pro-illegals got fired. It's another shot across the bows of others come Nov. '08.

Only the likes of Sen. Lott showed "bravery" and stood up to angry Americans by saying YES on amnesty. Bravery, my foot! He turned to be as we all thought; a first class coward who knew he's quitting before finishing his term and getting fired in the process. Good riddance!

The immigration issue cuts across party lines.

The GOP does not yet understand how strong the immigration issue is with the rank and file members.

They're going to.

Politicians of both parties don’t realize how visceral this issue is for voters.

The issue is not racism or intolerance or bigotry. The issue is upholding the law.

Immigrants who come legally are welcomed...needed even.

But those who come illegally, stay illegally and work illegally, feel like they can do anything they want to—legally or not, and there are far too many politicians who have let them do exactly that.

It is the law abiding people, immigrants and native-boran Americans alike, who suffer the sins of illegal immigration.

This story should be a wake up call to Congress and Republican presidential wannabes.

And Mayor Barletta of Hazleton PA who swept both sides of the primary ticket (1200 Dem write-in votes) and overwhelmingly won reelection in the general (got 90% of the vote) BECAUSE he is fighting to restrict illegals.

Good. Let this be a lesson to all elected officials who think they can create so-called “sanctuary cities”.

I’m glad to see that the voters in Greeley still want our leaders to ENFORCE existing laws!

I really feel betrayed by my community," said Selders

Actually, he chose his "community" poorly. When he chose to represent illegals over his lawful constituents, he made them his community. Voters responded accordingly. Sucks to be him.

Reading through the thread I see how the "politicians" don't understand, listen, realize etc. what a huge issue this is with the American people -- which I always believed was true. However, if it is/was such a big deal then Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo would be leaving every other candidate in the dust. Just sayin'............

You brought up a key point that reinforces MY opposition to illegal immigration and the inevitable amnesty policies right behing them.
I personally have had pretty good experiences with the Latinos, both legal and otherwise, here in Cali.Yet I see the writing on the wall-the more of them here, the more likely the Dems will gain a permanent servile voting block to insure liberal and ultimately socialist domination of the country.
And the ironic thing will be that the Latinos will still be poor, probably even poorer under the Democrats.
Yet the rich white elite socialists will be permanently entrenched, courtesy of all those”people of color”who consent to their own enslavement.

The ex-Mayor is suffering from a cranial rectal inversion. Wonder if he understands the issue any better now?

"Nope, no illegals up here."

Once a ‘sanctuary city’ mayor’s kid is raped or killed by an illegal alien, then they might reconsider. Until that happens, fat chance.

Here in MN, our 2 largest cities (to include the capitol city)are gubermint-mandated crimalien havens.

Good.
That and worse should happen to any elected official or appointed
official that forgets that
his/her country is The United States of America.

Not the "old country". Not that nice place s/he visited on vacation
when young.
And especially NOT the countries trying to over-run the USA with
drones sent to just send vouchers home and get as many freebies as
they can beg, borrow or steal.

They've learned nothing.
Such as when Senator Clair McCaskill (D, MO) runs for re-election in
2012...she will easily win re-election if she stays on her current
trajectory of being anti-illegal. Even voting correctly on each
of the "comprehensive immigration reform" votes...when Senator
Kit Bond (R, MO) voted with the pro-illegal crowd at times. (Yes, Bond
did vote correctly in the final votes).

The Republicans are now "standing in the middle of the road" PARALYZED.

They are committing political suicide on a daily basis.

The DUmbos target is a one-party system governing forever. When they rain without compassion, they would like to silence all of us, specially Rush enjoying a life sentence with no parole!

Their compassion will show by not executing him because they are not for the death penalty. LOL
