If you work really hard along these lines, you can probably get your popular support below 30% and make any Republican unelectable for 50 years.

Great work.

Why, then, isn't the pro-life movement waging battle in every state in America to end this scourge?

Because the people will not tolerate ending abortion.

They WILL tolerate incremental progress in decreasing abortion.

Your posts are proof positive that Judie Brown is on the right track, and that many who call themselves conservatives have no interest in banning abortion, or in reestablishing a free republic whose cornerstone principle is that government’s purpose is to protect the God-given and unalienable right to life and liberty.

Actually, the pro-life movement has had significant success. The American people are more sympathetic to pro-life views than they were 25 years ago.

True. But that’s because of those who refuse to stop boldly telling the truth about it, not because of those who don’t mind making a political “issue” out of it, but have no interest in doing what it takes to stop it.

Though, on second thought, a case could be made that, regardless of what polls might say about what people think, that no "progress" at all has been made, since 3 to 4 thousand babies continue to be brutally killed every day.

A new strategy is called for; and to my mind, those who resist talking about it are the root cause of the problem. To them I would say: Get off the fence and join the battle to end the murder of America's future. The troops are moving out — with you, or without you.

Yes a new stradegy, but what? If we can't even get so-called moral religious folks to care, than how?

And this thing about they are tired of hearing about it is bull, the trouble is they don't care.

We need pictures, lots of pictures and film of aborted babies forced into public view. No one truly believes the horror because “out of sight, out of mind”. How we get it past the censors in the media is something that has to be worked out. All I know is that if people were sickened by the images of aborted babies and whatever else we can come up with, their hearts and minds will be changed. We won’t have much success if we keep playing “nice” on this issue, that much is for certain.

I would think that would help but they harden their hearts even harder.

A few years ago I put up a billboard with 2 of my Catholic friends. One wanted the bloody pictures, and the women at the Catholic church through an absolute fit.

My son designed on with a baby in the womb sucking his thumb, and the wording "Abortion has killed over 48 million babies, WHAT ARE YOU GONA DO ABOUT IT. VOTE PRO-LIFE.

Doing research, I found that studies show that the cute little baby pictures, with facts about life, heart beat, smiles, hearing, etc before birth has more impact on the viewer to turn them towards life.
