Who pays? I cant think of a single scientist in the US...who makes enough to pay $25k out to attend a conference like this (the guy has to bring his wife along too). How much you want to bet that Hansen, the guy on the NASA payroll, will be there, staying in a suite, and he won't be flying tourist class either?
