Hopefully, this is Bush’s fault.
Our soldiers may be bit safer
Unfortunately, Our Soldiers cannot rely on the loyalty of Elected Democrats like Reid, Clinton, Obama, Murtha, Edwards, Pelosi, Klobachar, ect.
...but his lips are sealed...
Hellzapoppin’.......ping.
Let’s see? Does the red wire go here, or does the green wire go there? Oh, well. it’s almost lunch time. Lunch, launch, it’s just depends on how you pronounce it. No big deal.
That point is at least arguable. I worked on Titan I and the commplexity of piping to cool the nozzles, the turbine pumps for fuel and LiquidO2, the requirement to vent the O2 boiling off before launch, the thermal expansion and contraction issues from 273 deg Kel to 6,000 deg F, all make it a very difficult bird to manufacture and launch.
A solid fuel missile is basically a pipe with a mixture of an oxidizer and fuel that has been solidified. Put a few thermite firecrackers in the azz end and you got yourself a rocket. A bit of an oversimplification....maybe, but you get my point.
Let future generations speak in huddled whispers about “the day the jets came, and the fist of God streaked down from the heavens.”
A cruise missile flys like an airplane...point to point in a more or less straight line....with wings.
Oops...your right. The V-1 was the cruiser...I was thinking V-2. Sorry....bit quick on the trigger.
“Out to Launch”, I like it.
The Iranians have for some time fielded the Chinese "Silkworm" anti-ship cruise missile. It wouldn't surprise me if the Iranians were building their own copies by now.
>>I dont believe that the Iranians have anything close to a cruise type missle.<<
Apparently that’s a big reason we can’t let Pakistan fall to Islamofascists - Pakistan has much better missile tech.
Parts of the Parchin site are devoted to conducting research on uranium enrichment using laser technology.
Not any more.
JDAM?
Oh, to have been a fly on the wall when Ahmadangnutjob got that call....
Probably had one of those “damn where’s the handy wipes and a clean change of undies” moments.
Bond.......James Bond. :)
heh-heh-heh
Sad to say, that area does not clearly appear to have suffered damage. It’s certainly inside the mountain not in the open facilities.
Possible but not easy with govt. vigilantes everywhere and paid informers and brown nosers.
A bit like in Nazi times people in Islamic Iran give up their own families let alone neighbors, to curry favor. Feeding others to the crocodiles to be eaten last but they do not understand this.
Having said this, we reportedly have boots on the ground in various areas - obviously the less known the better.
“Sad to say, that area does not clearly appear to have suffered damage. Its certainly inside the mountain not in the open facilities.”
Well. We will see what we can do about that.
(I’m kidding. We have no such plans.)
