In Iowa, if the voter is registered an independent, do they get to vote for either party GOP/DEM???
It is my understanding that Iowa has a closed caucus meaning only registered members of the party can participate. Thus a registered independent can’t participate in either GOP/DEM caucuses. That’s my understanding and I’m sure someone will correct it if it is in error.

A scary time for America. If Hillary wins its a quick death. If Giuliani wins, its a slower death via gay and abortion-infanticide/death culture. At this point Thompson appears to be the only viable candidate that approaches Christian conservatism.Best comment of the day!!!!

I when all is said and done, 25 percent of the primary voters will go for Rudy. A lot more will wind up going to one of the other voters.

I’ve been expecting that turn-up in the Rasmussen for almost two weeks now, and I an certain that it is coming. The downward trend at least has been halted.
I have a theory that what happened is that after the intial surge of enthusiasm after the Thompson announcement was met with either denigrating commentary or complete silence on the part of the MSM, many initial Thompson enthusiasts became discouraged.
Now that they have seen that Thompson is for real, is sticking around, is offering genuine common-sense conservatism across the board, seeing dead-serious conservatives from all over the country endorsing him, listening to him unfiltered on several of the interview shows and on the stump, they’re coming back.
For some reason Gallup is picking it up first, but we’ll see it in Rasmussen too. And, as Thompson’s numbers pick up in the national polls, that will also be refected in Iowa and New Hampshire. Much more importantly it will be reflected in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Colorado, Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Nebrasks, Kansas, and on and on.
GO FRED!

“Huckabee is Rudys DH to try to split the conservative vote and let him sneak through.”
I think that’s worth repeating.

Really.
How many millions did he make when he sold his cable channel?
