Someone will be along shortly to tell us how Ramos and Compean coldly shot a fleeing, terrified guest worker in the back.

Maybe not. The troll swarm just ain't what it used to be on this subject. Bob J still shows up and blows crap all over the place once in a while, but one troll does not a swarm make.

IN the other story, he was not arrested a 3rd time for bringing drugs, but was simply arrested at the border (for the 1st time) with a warrent charging him for the “2nd load”.

Rather than try to pick through another wave of contradictory and inaccurate stories, I’m just going to point out the discrepancy without making any quess at which story is correct. Eventually SOMEONE might figure out how to write a news story that provides actual information.

Johnny Satan has had almost three years to indict this crim

The indictment reported a couple days ago was for an incident in oct 2005 where they found drugs at a drop house and while questioning the owner he implicated Davila.

That even was 2 years ago, not 3. This indictment is NOT for the drug smuggling related to the shooting.

Great picture! All we need now is a president who does the work some American president’s won’t do — like securing the border.

Right - I think the Bush/Sutton open-borders cabal hasn’t even begun to see the worst of it yet. One of the congressmen on Lou Dobbs who clearly intimated that Sutton can and should be investigated for his improper handling of the case is Ted Poe (R-TX),who was a federal judge for six years. In other words, he’s not just politicizing but he knows the legal issues involved, and seems intent on pursuing the matter.

Absolutely. I think it’s truly a low point in American history when illegals, agents of the drug cartel, and those in the human smuggling business make documented incursions into our sovereign territory and assault our Boder Patrol agents with high-powered military combat weapons. We’re the laughing-stock not only of the illegals but the terrorists who want to destroy our nation. Have we lost all common sense and the instinct for self-preservation?

Poe and Rohrabacher are both willing to pursue Sutton. I look forward to the day his sorry a$$ is put under oath.

I can understand the policies of Fox/Calderon. They’re very rational. They export their poverty, disease, and social problems. In return, they receive billions back from illigals to bolster the Mexican economy. This also enables them to avoid reforming their own corrupt system. BUT, what baffles me is that in every serious study (I cite those of Robert Rector of Heritage to mention only a few), it has been abundantly clear that the contributions of the illegals to our economy still represent a NET loss when measured against the costs of prison incarceration, social welfare benefits, bankrupt public school districts, insolvent hospitals and the incalculable human and criminal costs brought to us by the drug cartel. SO - where is the rationality on our part? The desire for Hispanic votes and cheap labor for the special business interests? Or is this simply a Freudian manifestation of the “death-urge”?

I agree. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Poe was a federal judge for six years and he knows the law backward and forward as far as making a case against Sutton. And, from all indications, he’s prepared to do just that.

Simple. The big employers of cheap illegal labor profit, and the working stiffs and middle income taxpayers pay the tab.

Sure, it’s a net loss for our country in more ways than one. But the big agribusinesses, packers and canners, and other major employers and political contributors make fat profits on the backs of the taxpayers. So it’s no skin off their noses.

But it’s dispiriting when a reasonably decent and patriotic guy like George Bush doesn’t get it.

I completely agree. As many have pointed out, the average sentence for a murderer is only eight years. But ideologues like Sutton don’t give damn about individuals or their civil liberties if they must be sacrificed to advance their own political agendas. Also, they’re lives have been clearly endangered (witness the savage beating of Ramos) by placing them in the general prison population. I hope many will offer a prayer for them and their families this Thanksgiving holiday. It’s truly tragic that this can be the fate of those risk their lives to defend our borders.

They’ll try I suppose, but I think the facts have pretty much given the lie to this spin from the open-borders and ethnocentric lobby/pressure groups.
