>>This really is an amazing phenonmenon. People leave a society they are fed up with and go to a new land to seek freedom. However, after having a respite and tasted a different lifestyle for a while, they long for the familiar. As a result, recent immigrants often work to create the same kind of hell hole they left. This is true be it Muslims or transplanted New Yorkers.

>The above is so ture it is shocking. what scares me about people moving to the State I live in, is that when they come to this State they bring their culture and political views with them. Little Virginia was once conservative. Northern Virginia is now no different than New Jersey.

I’ll answer you both straight this time (rough draft).

For the last 30 years, I’ve heard how the next election is the most important ever. I tired of the same cliché every voting cycle.

It has always possibly been the truth, but because of the speed of the modern world, everything is different now. Both the ability to get across borders and the pace at which information travels are faster than ever. This means that each election from now on there is always more at stake than there has ever been.

In other words, every future election will have a more profound result than any ever before it. On top of that certain issues present tipping points, decisions that once made will be extremely difficult to reverse.

Right now, any one of the important issues if mishandled can obliterate our local communities, our states, our country, Western Civilization as we know it. These tipping point issues are Islamofascism, illegal aliens, the global warming hoax, entitlements and health care.

The Democrats fail on all of them. They refuse to conquer militant Muslims who will as a result bury us. If a flood of illegals continues unabated and more importantly unassimilated, how long is it before these peons decide to, say, legislate confiscation of all the trains in Arizona? Global warming cap and trade schemes, entitlements or socialized health care could provoke the true big sucking sound - the sucking of cash out of our economy - the cash necessary for each individual to be able to offer consumers possibilities and in return be rewarded.

If our civilization can be stifled into reverse because of any one of the looming Democrat disasters, what happens if two or all of them hit simultaneously? It speeds up the pace at which Democrats can force socialism on us. As more become dependent, the easier it is to suck more cash out of the economy to redistribute, which in turn causes more free enterprises to succumb. The rich are then forever filthy rich and the poor are forever filthy poor.

No one ever expected to have to mobilize just to defend our normal way of life. Most want to position themselves in a decent job, take the kids to ballet and/or Little League, spend some time with the wife, go fishing, skiing, golfing, bowling.

Unfortunately MS-13 and the Zetas are moving in your neighborhood and they want to define your children as drug whores.

Jesse and Al refuse to fix the black family because with 70% of the newborn without fathers, they both have an uneducated mob with which to threaten the rest of us every time they want to extort more cash.

One day a year in the USA is Irish Day (St. Patrick), Italian Day (Columbus), Mexican Day (Cinco de Mayo). Every other day, we are all Americans. Except, now down at the local mosque every day is Arab day.

Further, if the Europeans don’t immediately confront the Islamofascists, white flight is foregone. To the extent their cowards move here, they will most likely try to reeducate us into their next attempt at a socialist paradise – this time on our soil.

And the ACLU tells us to French kiss the posteriors of all of the above to prove that we aren’t prejudiced.

You could move to Australia. That will buy you a half a generation or maybe two. But a couple years ago that government confiscated its citizens’ guns which is probably just the beginning of what their left has in mind.

In the long run, there is no more way for Americans to ‘Go West young man.” We either hunker down and organize ourselves to take on each challenge directly or we ultimately lose our freedoms.

One of the changes we have to make is to realize that we are probably going to have to fight every day of the rest of our lives to force the world into our definition, away from Alinsky, Marx, or Hugo’s, away from Osama and the Solafists’, away from the perverts and greedy Hollyweirdo cowards.

I haven’t thought through all the details, but we need to solve both short term and long term issues.

Short term, we need to muzzle ACLU, CAIR, MS-13, Zetas, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Mark Cuban. The list is long. All those folks are organized. There is no reason that we can’t find new ways to come together to expose and quash them.

Long term: we have to replace the anti-American, pro-socialist education system and the tv/movie story tellers. One of ours has to take the place of each teacher, professor, director, actor, writer, gaffer. If they are allowed continue to dump their images and ideologies into our consciousness often long before we are old enough to be able to reason, there will never be a way to culturally get our heads straight.

If you really want to know what I think, I suggest you rent The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance and watch it again.

We all have to realize the we might be able to run, but our children aren’t going to be able to hide.

Its not just the Brits leaving. Germans are leaving Germany as well....to include the higher educated and the lesser educated. They have weekly shows now...probably five hours spread over four networks...showing how Germans are adjusting to a dozen different cournties. The majority? Moving to Canada and the US. I think if you line up folks across most of Europe and ask them if they’d like to move....more than 40 percent will say they’d like to...but only a third of them will get serious about this. There is a huge amount of dissatisfaction across the public in Europe.

I’ve spent 12 years in Germany....and witness this general negative comment about life in Germany on a daily basis. I’m strictly here to work for the US military. Germans sit there and watch these shows....and start to get more ideas about moving. My guess...over the next decade....more than 3 million Germans will leave. If you figure up 85 million in the population and more than 3 million pack up to go...it has an effect on society. From 2015 to 2025...I could easily see millions more leaving...who are unhappy.

You might want to rethink that - if the polls are correct, John Howard’s Liberal Party (actually the right-of-center party) is going to be deserted by the voters for the Labor Party under Kevin Rudd in elections next weekend. Perhaps some Australian FReepers can comment more on the election and what is at stake.
