“So, if you want to read about real issues important to America—and the whole world, I suggest you pick up a copy of the Economist or the New York Times or some other independent source.”

They were clearly hoping for a "boxers or briefs" moment and ended-up with "Maxi-Pads or Tampons".
The whiney little girl could have refused to ask the question at all. But principle went out the window for 15 minutes of fame.

It was live, right? So when CNN said to ask the frilly question, say, OK then ask the Yucca question anyhow.

In the old days her complaints about being strongarmed by CNN would have been heard by a few friends in a bar. Now it can hit national news in a little more than 12 hours.
One of these days someone is going to say "CNN wanted me to ask A, but instead my real question is B".

"Every single question asked during the debate by the audience had to be approved by CNN," Luisa writes. "I was asked to submit questions including "lighthearted/fun" questions. This was exactly how the reporter's daughter at the MTV town hall forum "happened" to ask a question about whether Clinton wore boxers or briefs when she and her mom had settled on asking about the legalization of recreational drugs.

Bull. She deserves to be judged If CNN gave her the question, she could have refused to use it. If she submitted it, she deserves the ridicule. Either way, she should go back to school until she matures.

I guess that young one didn’t like being played. Or realizing it. If only she knew the extent to which she’s really played by the left...

Well, why didn’t you SKUNK CNN and ask your question about Yucca Mountain anyway? What could they have done? Thrown you out of the debate? It was over anyway.

If you want me to explain to you how the media works, I am more than happy to do so. But do not judge me or my integrity based on that question." Did they put a gun to her head and force her to ask that question?
CNN apparently also selected people they knew would do as they were told.

I’m surprised CNN didn’t script someone to ask Mrs. Stalin for her favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe.

On a larger scale, it looks as if CNN has "gotten the message" from Hillary's operatives and have returned to their obedient, fifth-column, Hillary promoting selves.
The "fellow-traveling" members of the "news" media have absolutely no idea just how good they have it in this great Country; and,
they have no clue as to how horribly miserable THEY would be if they ever get their way, and turn this nation into a global collectivist paradise.

“CNN ran out of time and used me to “close” the debate with the pearls/diamonds question.”
Close the debate? What debate? I think she meant, “close the scripted, canned performances of the Dem candidates.”
