The conservative pro-life faction of the Republican party is hopelessly divided between all the major candidates—yes, even Giuliani. There is no evidence yet that this one endorsement is going to change any of that.
Fred, not that I’m complaining or anything (which I am) — it’s about time you started caring about polls and such before it is too late and we are stuck with Rudy McRomney......PLEASE!
Dont get me wrong I hope to cast my vote for Fred in the GE. He gave me pause yesterday by not being for the HLA. My only two other concerns is clean out the closets now and how serious is his desire for potus.
Look, I'm not happy with the crop of candidates we have (Rudy included), but Fred has been trotted out to address those concerns, and has been presented as the "Next Reagan", and nothing could be further from the truth.
Most of them don’t like Fred because they hopped into bed with other candidates too soon. The NRTL endorsement is HUGE. That’s why it sent a shockwave through the pundit class, as well as the Huckabee and Romney campaigns. Did you hear Hugh Hewitt completely lose it yesterday? The endorsement is HUGE.
What would you like him to do?
Tell the reporters that due to his falling polls he’s quitting?
What else can he say in public?
Funny, because I worked for President Reagan and I disagree with you. Are they the same man? OF COURSE NOT!! Is Fred the closest we'll get to Mr. Reagan in the foreseeable future? Hell yes!!
Not a thing in public, BUT his late start is being compounded by his slow start. I am worried. I want a TRUE conservative to run. I am banking on Fred or Duncan Hunter.

I’ll bet you would. Still wouldn’t help Hunter overcome his Hunter problem. But our opinions differ on that, even though my opinion is reality based and yours is in Hunter-la-la-land.
NRLC has chapters but Huck may have actual churches and the die-hard pro-lifers are more likely to listen to what they hear from church. I mean...fred can’t really “out christian” Huck so he has to have something else. Huck has his fair tax and very strong on the 2nd amendment. So he does have his “red meat” to disguise his other liberal views.

You keep laying up this phony straw dog statement that Fred Thompson isn’t Ronald Reagan and then you mention something about Thompson not getting conviction of Clinton about China, or some such thing.
While not answering any questions you were leading people to think that Fred just isn’t conservative enough for you, I think it helps them to know that you support the most liberal of all the candidates, namely Rudy Giuliani.
We shall see.
So, your position is that Fred Thompson held the fate of Bill Clinton in his personal hands with slam-dunk evidence of treason at the highest level of government and decided to let the Clintons skate.
I wonder how Hillary will be able to use that against him in the general election?

Misleading is an art the anti-Fred's have developed and nurtured over the past few months and they would be very good at it except for the search button...LOL! When I did a search on a Mitthead he lost it and demanded that I apologize!
This election has really brought out the nut cakes.....sheesh!

I’d vote for Mitt but I prefer Fred. Or Duncan. Tanc is pretty good too. What the heck, in the primary I’d vote for anyone NOT named Rudy.
