I see you’re still a sour puss spreading sour grapes. LOL Jim told you this was getting old. I agree. If you spent more time posting positive articles about your guy, Duncan Hunter, you might be of some help to his failing campaign effort.
Ramesh Punnuru is entitled to his opinion. He just happens to be dead wrong. Going back to at least 1994, Fred Thompson was never pro-choice. In 1994 and 1996 the NRTL Committe endorsed Fred`s election and reelection to the Senate. Fred had a 100% pro-life voting record while in the Senate. Since at least 1994 Fred has been pro-life.
In 2007 Fred remains pro-life. In 2007 the NRTL has endorsed Fred for President. Doesn’t get any better then that.
Go Fred go!

The first time I heard about Ron Paul was from a guy on another board who is a real jerk. He starts multiple threads about whatever his pet peeve of the week is, all just a little different. He hollers and fusses if people don’t respond to each and every one of his points but feels free to ignore whatever point his debaters raise against him that he doesn’t like.

Yes, but I reckon the national review is pretty safe fodder for FR, don’t you?

>>>>>In 1994, Thompson said in a debate that he was against the governmentand not just the federal governmentcriminalizing abortion. Hey Ramesh Ponnuru, get you're head out of your butt. The Republican Party Platform opposes criminalizing abortion and throwing women in jail. The GOP Pro-life PLank states:
~~~ We oppose abortion, but our pro-life agenda does not include punitive action against women who have an abortion.
I want to make clear that I don’t think you, Pissant, are a jerk, but every other point of comparison matches. Change name of the candidate and voila!
I think an interesting poll for FR or a national poll would be the following:
1. Are you:
Pro-life
Pro-choice
2. When you cast a vote in a national election how important is the candidate’s position on abortion?
It is my only deciding factor
It is very important
It is somewhat important
It is not very important
It makes no difference in my voting preference.
It would be illuminating to link up the answer to the first qustion with the various answers to the second. Are pro-abortion people more or less likely than pro-life people to make voting decisions based on the abortion question?
