This is sending a very confusing message. If the boss, knowingly or otherwise, is harboring a fugitive and action is taken to arrest the fugitive who then fires the tipster, it makes a very ugly statement about the boss. Who or what else is the boss an accomplice in hiding?
I think bossperson needs to seriously re-think firing the tipster before the suit for wrongful termination is filed.
