I suppose you know what you can do with the finger you have sticking up as well. You know nothing about me other than I support Hunter. I do know you called the Hunter campaign a “fantasy” and I know you support Romney.
You have been a member of FR far longer than I so I suppose your “101st keyboard, fightin’ pajamas” comment was just so much projection on your part. You seem to have a crystal ball since you have already narrowed down the contest between Romney and Rudy. I am not about to be so arrogant as to make some ignorant statement about my work as a conservative versus yours. I quite simply don’t have the information to make such a statement. I seldom consider the work I have done and think of it no more than my duty to the country I love. I have fought since my youth against abortion. If I understood the inherent evils of abortion from my youth, then as a true conservative I couldn’t in all good consciousness vote for a middle-aged man who is a new convert on the issue. The “best person running since Reagan”, was funny, I’ll give you that :)

Is it ok, if I heard Fred say that on Hannity and Skeletor? If Fred was just speaking about fairness to legal immigrants, he should have said just that. That is not what I heard and was watching Hannity when he said it.

Sure it's okay. I just wanted to hear the full quote. Here's the quote I was talking about. Tail end of Thmpson's reply:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b81K03dMc98
What all the Hunter fans are doing is knocking Fred out of consideration even for vice president. Who do you think Hunter would pick as his running mate? There's nobody left but Fred. Isn't it time to get realistic? Thompson/Hunter would work! And Hunter would be in the perfect position for an eight-year run for president beginning in 2012!
Consider what a Republican conservative movement could do for the country with a 12-year run in the White House!

I have total confidence in making the comment. I wouldn't have brought it out but you decided to suggest that I wasn't a conservative and that I didn't understand conservatives.
At least I can demonstrate that I outstrip you in knowledge of history of the Cause if not sevice to it. Witness your statement:
If I understood the inherent evils of abortion from my youth, then as a true conservative I couldnt in all good consciousness vote for a middle-aged man who is a new convert on the issue.
There was another middle-aged man named Ronald Reagan who was the first to legalize abortion as Governor of CA. What do you make of that?
And while no great Conservatives, George H W Bush and his son were both also pro-abortion as candidates in their adulthood and on the Life issue were quiet reliable (justices, executive orders, making a live call into the Right to Life march on the Mall, etc.)
At least when Romney was governor he always sided with Life, despite what he said as a candidate.

Romneys supporters dont foam at the mouth. Romney doesn't have supporters to begin with.
Wake me up if Romney can get 5,000 people to attend a rally for him like Paul did Saturday.

“Could he make it any worse? I say, let him at it.”
I agree. Rooty couldn’t do crap without banning guns and his other Gestapo BS. He can’t ban guns in Michigan and Detroit is 90% black.
They hate him and he has no love for them.
It would be a great way to get rid of his dumb a$$.

"There was another middle-aged man named Ronald Reagan who was the first to legalize abortion as Governor of CA. What do you make of that?"
What I make of it is you are using semantics to spin for Willard. Reagan was not pro-abort nor was he even Pro-choice as I have read. A true Conservative would not denigrate "The Gipper" in even making such a suggestion. What you are referring to is the Therapeutic Abortion Act that was passed in 1967? The Act was not written by Reagan and he signed on to it only because it was sold to him as a compassionate law. The law defined a legal abortion as only that which was considered a necessary medical procedure and then could not be performed after 20 weeks. How you arrived at abortion from TAA, I have no idea. So, tell me about your knowledge again? I know using semantics to somehow paint Reagan as an abortionist is beneficial to Willard the Flip-Flopper. The benefits to Gov. Flip-Flopper aside, it still isn't true.

***I think that’s knocking down a good conservative to make your so-so conservative look better, a no-no on Free Republic that previously got some tootyfruityrudybots banned. That’s what I make of that.
