A strong statement from a Vietnam/Cold War Vet

It certainly is a different world than many of us grew up in, but most of us survived WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the other skirmishes, but this new ‘war’ is a contest of values and ideology. We are attempting to do battle with a handful of radical religious loons, scattered all over the world, with no real army, weapons, soldiers or state they represent. Just some misguided, backward, primitive, third-world losers who think they are following some religion that came along after Christianity with ideas about what people should believe. What crap! The only way to kill a snake is to cut it’s head off. IF we were serious, we would spend our time and resources finding out who is behind the radicalism, round them up, dead or alive, and spend money ‘re-educating’ their followers. Those that teach hate need to get their death-wish fulfilled, and it would cost a Hell of a lot less to take care of this problem. Sound RADICAL? Consider the alternatives. Aren’t we trying alternatives now? Is it working? Didn’t think so.......
