Ain’t it the truth!! Cry me a river. Those people aren’t “Katrina Victims”, they are victims of their own laziness and stupidity.

Diagnosis by survey? What a joke.

Where’s the poll re: our mental illness from the dramatic lies of the MSM? Most of us were here watching 24/7 starting four days before it hit, some of which were missing relatives, like myself.

Nevermind the greatest helo rescue ever... let’s talk about the idiots that didn’t leave. (Mind you, I lived in the area and know the reluctance, but I also have common sense and would have seen at least two days out I had to leave).

The argument that slavery was holding them back was getting a little weak. Katrina may have saved them in a nick of time.

... the percentage of pre-hurricane residents of the affected areas in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi who have mental disorders has increased significantly compared to the situation five to eight months after the hurricane.

Most of the sane people have exited by now. Who do you think is left?

Tell the survey group that the government is going to give $500 American Express cards to everyone who is doing well and getting on with their lives. Then repeat the survey questions.

I remember watching tv and seeing all the pain and suffering. It affected me so deeply that I was moved to send money myself for rescuing and caring for the poor,................helpless animals. It tore at my heart to see so many dogs, horses and other animals that couldn’t fend for themselves.

BTW, I didn’t send one dime to help the people.

A couple of weeks or so ago a bunch of people rounded up dozens of buses to get to florida for that protest over the “attitude adjustment camp” that straightened out young people.

Why didn’t people do the same in New Orleans before Katrina hit?

"Katrina victims increasingly depressed, traumatized, and suicidal as relief efforts drag on...'

Complete baloney! The Katrina Holocaust Survivors/Victims/Evacuees in Houston have it made in the shade! Free rent all the way to March of 2009! And free monthly FEMA checks along with other financial freebies. The ones in my 'hood in the Section 8 temporary housing apartments are driving new cars. Life has never been better for the Katrina Holocaust Survivors/Victims/Evacuees.

They can just sniff the air and tell you if money a hurricane is on its way.

Sheesh! 20 years from now we will still be hearing about the recovery efforts. Get over it and start helping yourselves for a change.

This is meant for the nuckin futz “victims” that still have their hands out. Poor little cry babies.

These folks just refuse to accept that the government isn’t going to show up to rebuild their lives. They actually believed all that leftist tripe.

I offered to take in a dog. I was willing to pay for the travel cost. I got no takers.

You can’t paint all of these people with the same strokes.

Some of these people are legitimately in a bad way, and were before the hurricane ever came, or legitimately went through things that really messed them up.

Some of them are products of American socialism. They are tame foxes, unable to care for themselves without being taken care of by the big nanny state, and they were made that way by “Democrat,” socialist, “compassionate” welfare. They need to be weaned off of sucking at the government teat.

And some of them are just lazy bums who need to get off of their butts and get a job.

I guess things in Iraq must be going pretty well right now, so out come the Katrina stories.
