If I’m working the joystick of the weather machine, it’ll run straight up the middle of the Florida peninsula, than into Georgia, the right up I-85. At about 10 mph, so it has plenty of time to give everyone a good soaking.
I just got a few things today just in case. There are thunder clouds here which I appreciate as it isn’t in the nineties. So far, it’s a quiet, peaceful night. I hope Noel fizzles out. I hate surprises.
The only good thing, I suppose, is if she really threatened to hit us is that we would get a hurricane day off. I’m so far behind on everything, I could use one. However, I’d rather not, because I know some people don’t get paid when they don’t work, so it’s not worth it.
I just don’t want any more RAIN for awhile. The backyard dried out enough today that I went ahead and mopped that dratted black mud off the floor. It reminds me of that black gumbo we had in Dallas.

A little “hope noone gets hurt but we really, really need the rain here in KY” BTTT.
Floridians never get caught up but it’s fun to try.
I appreciate the ping NN, thanks
Call me fastidious, but your tagline is starting to get to me NOT in a good way.
The evening track forecast has Noel recurving east of Andros, which would keep it well away from south FL. Good for us if that model holds true. We’ll see what they’re saying in the AM. Earlier today I had the impression that the forecasters were very unsure about where it will eventually go.
Thanks.
Well, it’s a quote from a Florida farmer. It’s appropriate here on many occasions and it was in the newspaper. LOL
I’ll send you some mud from my back yard if you like!

Well, it will do what it will do. It’s been such a quiet season for us. Good!

Don’t be a tease, we’re down 16” on the year. We’ve had rain finally 3 days this week and it was more unusual to see people hiding under umbrellas than to see them whirling about in glee.
I tell you, I know the rain we have had hasn’t helped with Lake Okeechobee, since that needs rain to the north, but I am tired of it! We have had rain most days the past couple of weeks, and not just a little, real bucketsfull. Of course, since I’m from TX and NM this seems like alot of water! More rain than we usually see in a year!
Anyway, maybe if I send you some mud you can wring the water out of it! ;)

Thanks, NN. I love the graphic!

Bush’s fault!
