That’s what the left does. It suppresses opposing voices.
Hey, they have a right to free speech to stop DH’s free speech, don’t cha know!
So the forces of intolerance win again and conservatives are shut up and threatened. How about forcibly removing the agitators and expelling them from campus for disturbing the peace? it’s time to defend freedom of conservatves to speak on campus, using FORCE if necessary.
These scumbags need to be deported (or at least have the sh*t beat out of ‘em).

Precisely! Though I opt for the latter. Way past time we start putting a real physical hurting on these little trust-fund ingrates. Our honor is at stake whenever these pigs shout us down or get in our faces. Years ago that kind of sh*t would have been settled by opening a can of whup-ass on the offending prick (male OR female). We’ve been nutured by the notion that violence never solves anything. BullSh*t!!!
My question would be: Why not "escort" the disruptors out? They sure didn't hesitate to get the "don't taz me bro" guy out during Kerry's speech.
Why is it that Horowitz is the one that has to leave? Campus police should protect Horowitz until the hall is cleared of disruptors, then the speech should proceed.
A very good question.
And you propose to do that How?
Frankly I’m becoming concerned this thing is spinning out of control. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see random acts of civil unrest breakout all across the nation during the upcoming ‘08 election resulting in the intimidation of many causing them to stay home. We may be about to witness the periodic break down in civil society altogether. And I for one am at a complete loss about how to stop it. I only know I don’t want myself or my family caught up in it.
Dr. James W. Wagner
President Emory University
Atlanta, Georgia
Dear Dr. Wagner:
Emory University’s October 24th reception of David Horowitz was troubling and not surprising. Emory is now most publicly exposed as an intellectual cesspool of intolerance.
Emory’s culture still has a long way to go. Your wealth, heritage and pride make you immune from God and many earthly realities. That is not the smell of a fire burning on campus, it is rot.
Don’t look for my children’s applications as I hold you and the University in contempt.
The loonies can't help themselves but play right into Horowitz's hand. This is more fodder for Horowitz's ongoing crusade against the lack of academic freedom on college campi.
Luke 23
20 Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.
21 But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.
22 And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.
23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.
24 And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.
25 And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.
We all know how the Left acts. Let’s pass the word on to them that we’re not going to take it anymore.
I’m up for dishin out a good ass kickin’.
I would award the medal of bravery to those in the audience who voiced their opposition to the rabble and risked getting beaten outside the venue.
I saw Dave at UC Berkeley several years ago. It was a similar crowd, and I accidentally sat on the wrong side of the hall, with the haters. I loudly applauded and yelled "Go Dave!" while the kids around me oozed hatred; I could feel it and see the anger in their eyes. As I left people were shouting that they were gonna kick my @ss! suffice to say I scurried to my vehicle and absconded the area quickly.
My first and only opportunity to hear WFB speak was ruined by a black radical group on my campus 35 years ago, after putting up hearing from Eldridge Cleaver, Bobbie Seale and Dick Gregory.
Reading Mark Bauerlein’s comments I thought “he better already be tenured” so I checked and he is (full professor with 4 books published, as well as co-author of 2 more). It would have been foolish for an untenured assistant professor to speak out even as mildly as he did.
Why would anyone be surprised about any of this from a University that boasts the “Carter Center” for the promotion of Human Rights?
I considered Emory years ago, until I saw the Carter Center. That ended my consideration. The Carter Center and many other buildings at Emory were financed by the Saudis.
Why weren't these people tazed? They were more disruptive than he was.
