I'm in partial agreement with a visitor upthread©. Not many politicians are going to listen to the truth. That isn't because politicians are too ethical, as a troll might like you to believe. It's because they already know enough details about Terri's murder to know that it was wrong, but openly discussing it with Terri's family would deprive them of their element of plausible deniability.

What a joke. They want to start this circus again? Oh come on, it's the 'problem' that never goes away!! Both parties have those within their midst that believe government knows best. And of course if the federal government sets a standard, they'll whine about that. The federal government will change it, and others will whine about that. It's the perpetual call of big government lovers, be they social 'conservatives' or far leaning lefties.
That's what will rot this nation from within. It won't be the boogeyman Islamowhatevers, it won't be the mean Chinese with a booming economy, it will be those that believe the federal government should be involved in anything and everything that will drag this nation to its demise.

Glad to hear this. I can't in good conscience vote for anyone who thinks Terri's murder was legal, and acceptable
because it was legal. It was cruel, deliberate murder.

I can't help but notice that your tagline is very inconsistent with your views which totally contradict the principles upon which our Republic was founded.You mean the principles the federal government was limited to very specific issues and the rest was left to the states? Or the SoCon Huckabee myth that most of the Framers were ministers and what they really meant to establish was a federal government that would deal with every moral concern the citizens of the separate and sovereign states may face?
