Say Hello to President Thompson.
Notice Rooty has higher “never” numbers than Fred T.
I don’t know who the “real conservative” is. However, I am prepared to vote for whoever is running against Hilary, with the possible exception of Ron Paul, because I don’t want to see a reenactment of the “killing fields” in Iraq. Yes, that means I’d even vote for Giuliani, although I prefer a more conservative candidate. Whatever we do, I hope we conservatives don’t split up. If we do, we get Hilary.
"We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society.
"It's time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, for the few, and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity."
"We can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people."
"We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own turf in order to create this common ground."
"I certainly think the free market has failed."
"I think it's time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector [oil] in the entire economy, that they are being watched."
"What I want to do is take those profits and apply them to alternative energy."
Karl Marx or Frederick Engels said none of these things; Hillary Clinton said them all.

Hillary and Ron Paul?
Agreed 1000%...
God bless Gitmo Sailor!
Good luck Hillary trying to figure out how to get the “No hope in hell vote”.....This is going to be very funny to watch!
“Ask Zogby...
If they tracked that, they didnt report it...”
I participated in this pole. One of the first thing it asks you is party affiliation.
There is 50% who would state they would never vote for HRC, but what about the other 50%? The poll does not say they would vote for HRC, correct? This is not simple dichotomy, and I suggest that of the “other” 50%, a non-zero proportion would prefer a democrat, just not HRC, but would sit it out if the preferred candidate is not nominated. In total, I believe HRC’s realistic negatives are likely higher than Zogby estimates, and that they are spinning this to minimize them as much as they can. Never believe a poll!
...”Reasonable people must band together to defeat the Democrats. This must be the single overriding issue of the election. We cannot afford to do otherwise. The fate of our nation and of our children depend upon it.”
That, in a single statement, says it all. Defeating whomever is the democrat party nominee overrides all other considerations. I cannot believe a GOP voter who cares about America would not vote, or worse cross over, in the face of the danger a democrat would pose to us all. This is an election of existential importance.
>>IMO, Hillarys first order of business would be to silence conservative talk shows, silence FR and all bloggers that expose her tyranny, and have the Internet watched by her Gestapo.<<
She would try, certainly. What she would not expect was the reaction. It would be fabulous irony for the daughter of the ‘60s to become the face of the establishment against which we will protest. I can easily imagine a dozen different ways to circumvent any kind of government control using radio, the Internet, and speech codes. If she made this her first order of business, it would mean a lame duck presidency for the rest of her term. I still imagine President Hillary ending her term of office as a heartless martinet barking orders that no one obeys and giving shrill speeches that no one cares about.
>>Your forgetting the press would go along with anything the Clintons would want to do or not do. The MSM is a cheering section for the Clintons and most of the people dont understand that. Let me give you a very small example. Can you imagine the MSM letting a Republican administration getting away with stealing the FBI files of Democrat party members?<<
I worked in the media for 20 years, including some of the Clinton administration, and I agree with you about the mainstream media cheering squad. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. However, the mainstream media doesn’t have the influence and power it once had. When I started in the media back in the late stone age, many people watched the evening news. Thirty years later, few people watch. Newspaper circulation declines every year.
What has changed is the way people approach the news. Most people - probably you and I, too - read and watch the news with a jaundiced eye. We know it is biased and corrupt. My sister, who resides left of Trotsky, also considers the media biased and corrupt (for different reasons than we do). My point is that no one would end a newscast today saying, “And that’s the way it is,” without the viewer smirking or laughing.
The left discovered in the Soviet Union and China that it cannot control every thought and word spoken by its people. Tens of millions died in the attempt to impose that control, and certainly I’m scared of that as you are. However, American culture is different from those places, and I can easily see many or most of us telling the authorites to go to hell if they told us what and how we could speak or write. We are too used to freedom. Even my sister would suddenly find herself in alliance with me if she found out the government was censoring the Internet.
Here are instances of how we could express our freedom: illegal radio (easy to build). Podcasts (easy to slip into an e-mail). Using code words. Using copy machines or printers to make anonymous pamphlets. Writing it out. Graffiti. Just ignoring the government edicit. General strikes or work slowdowns. Putting a radio station just over the border or offshore. Servers that appear and vanish overnight. How about writing a book and publishing it?
Hillary and the left are actually screwed. Let them try.
SMELLARY GIVES HER SECRET SMELLY SIGNAL TO HER SMELLY FOLLOWERS!
Because of massive vote fraud, we need to get that up to about 57%. I hope this helps - http://www.ejfa.org

>>Most people get their news from sound bites and the Democrats and especially the Clintons are very good at giving their propaganda in sound bites. Whats left of the MSM are very good at giving short pro Democrat sound bites over and over and over. Thats what I worry about.<<
The mainstream media, Democrats, leftists want to desperately portray themselves as having the support of “most people.” It’s their illusion, probably stemming from their ideological slant that they support “the people.”
If “most people” supported the media and Democrats, Congress wouldn’t have an 11 percent approval rating and network news ratings would be through the roof. The leftists will discover their illusion if they really try to grab power and find out that they have no real base of support at all. I can imagine Hillary giving an order to the military and having them ignore it; I can imagine Hillary doing the same to some of the states and having them ignore it, too.
I can see chaos coming from these clowns, though, and chaos is never good. I’ve said before that I think a Hillary presidency would be like the Glorious Revolution in England - with the left as the monarchists, of course. The elites will duke it out. At the end, we could be a much better place, but, like I said, we’d have to live through the chaos first.
