And you have a point too - but where I personally draw the line is “things a person can change” as opposed to “things they can’t change”. (I realize that’s not as hard-and-fast as I like but it suffices for lack of better terminology.)

Whining, obesity(esp self-induced) or excesses of any type, willful idiocy and the like are self-inflicted - gender is not (and please don’t bring up transvestites here :) )
