And the latest figures I’ve seen for sea level rise (1998 - 2005) are right at the post glacial average of 6 inches per century.
What is not noted is that the continents themselves are rising and falling.
One European continent is doing both, one coast rising, the other falling.
When the tide goes in and out, the land (beaches) actually rise and fall with the tide.
It’s kinda like measuring the ‘speed’ of astronomical objects.
One must have a non-moving point to measure actual speed from. Just where is that spot?
When I was a kid, that number was 72.6% - so you see, the problem is GETTING WORSE!
Carbon and Oxygen on the Earth?! Oh my God !! we are all doomed!!!
