I am voting for Ron Paul. I’ve been a member of the Free Republic for about a year. I’d been reading a great deal — such as The Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, The Wal-Mart Effect (talk about scales falling off my eyes), Game as Old as Empire, and The Secret History of the American Empire — and getting really fed up with both parties and main stream media fighting and arguing, the lies of our current administration, and the loss of liberties with the Patriot Act. Then I came across a video of Ron Paul in a documentary, I think it was the Money Masters. I began to research him and I knew this was one person who understands our Republic, our foundations, our Constitution & Bill of Rights, economics, sound money, and foreign policy. I found the most useful information at RonPaulLibrary.com . My research paid off. After 30 years as an Independent I’ve registered Republican to vote for Dr. Paul.

Thanks for the report. Maybe I missed it but was there a final verdict about who won the debate? Fox only showed that McCain tanked and only 5 people raised their hands for Rudy. There was no info on how the others did but I’m guessing Huckabee must have won judging by the reactions here.

Thompson hopefully will get the Nod. IMHO If elected he will be the only one that wont take any BS from the Dems.
