Just reporting the news.
This website has great detailed coverage of the fires in San Diego:

General, Evacuations, Traffic, etc. Read down, then click links at the top in the maroon shaded area.
Thanks for interpretation. Why don't you just quote what I said?
You don’t get it?
I assume you don’t live in the affected area, and are not witnessing all that you have worked for going up in smoke, including photos and other items dear to you being destroyed.
To the Admin, regarding the post of bjs1779, this is not what FR is about, I simply ask that you remind he/she of the standard rules of posting. I don’t think this troll “gets it.”
There isn’t much to do at this point except wait!
In San Diego, as far as I can determine, they have 5 fires going. The worst: Harris (near the border and Chula Vista—they are saying it is worse than the Cedar Fire of a couple years ago) and Witch Creek/Pasqual (Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Santa Fe, etc—Witch/Pasqual fires merged early this morning). There are also the following (from the fox6 link above):
Fallbrook Fire
Updated 5:45 pm
A 1,000-acre wind-driven wildfire, one of about half- dozen blazes raging through San Diego County today, destroyed about 100 homes in Fallbrook and forced scores of residents to evacuate, authorities reported.
The fire erupted about 4:15 a.m. in the Rice Canyon area, south of Rainbow, according to the state Department of Forestry, or Cal Fire.
Over the morning and afternoon, authorities evacuated some 45,000 residents, directing many of them out of the area through nearby Camp Pendleton to the west.
By 2:30 p.m., the flames had crossed the freeway and moved into Fallbrook, where it leveled about 100 structures, officials said. One firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling the blaze.
A mandatory-evacuation order was issued for the southern reaches of the town in the mid-afternoon.
The cause of the blaze, dubbed the Rice Fire, was under investigation.
McCoy Fire
Updated 4:15 pm
One of the smaller wildfires to erupt in San Diego County over the last two days scorched about 400 acres and destroyed at least one structure in the Pine Hills area, authorities said.
The blaze, dubbed the McCoy Fire, began spreading near Eagle Peak and Boulder Creek roads in Cleveland National Forest, southwest of Julian, according to the state Department of Forestry, or Cal Fire.
By midday, a contingent of about 30 firefighters had the burn area about 5 percent surrounded, the agency reported. They expected to have blaze fully contained sometime tomorrow.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
Coronado Fire
Updated 5:45 pm
A wildfire destroyed homes — the exact number was unclear — and forced the evacuation of hundreds of households in the Coronado Hills area today, authorities said.
The fire near Cal State San Marcos erupted about 2 a.m., said Mike Workman of the county Office of Emergency Services. Within two hours, the flames had scorched roughly 200 acres.
More than 4,000 area residents received “reverse 911” notification calls that directed them to pack their most important valuables and head to Escondido High School, where the American Red Cross set up a shelter.
By late afternoon, crews had fully surrounded the roughly 300-acre burn area, regional fire-agency coordinator Kim Raddatz said during a news conference at OES headquarters in Kearny Mesa.
Raddatz said he was unsure how many structures had been lost to the flames.
The fire was one of a half-dozen — and one of the smallest — to plague the county over the last two days amid an unusually strong Santa Ana wind event.
You’re not worth the trouble, that’s why.
tv corrected and mandatory evacuation is only for bellalogio area rest voluntary...
I don't mind being reviewed by the head guy here.
Where you at where the smoke is turning?
And what is your problem?
I just heard they’re beginning to evacuate Del Mar- per Channel 10
Why don’t you take your agenda somewhere else. This thread is about the fires.
I would. But what is my agenda?
People tend to get crabby when The Santa Ana’s blow! It is a fact.Something to do with postive ions... besides there is the fact we are on fire! FF’s, LEO’s and families are stressed. Give us a break, OK!
Agenda? Being a goof with nothing better to do than disrupt this thread.
Mods, can you please boot this clown?

Back the fires before we were so RUDELY interuppted

Taking a short break...BBL.
Red Flag alert for winds extended to 3pm wednesday..not good...
