I didn't say that I agreed with the policy, I merely said that it was atypical for ladies to report rape in those days due to the perception of rape victims created by defense attornies. "Flower Power" drug-infused hippy girls were even less likely than those who were not part of the hippy crowd.

I also didn't say that rapes at Woodstock were a commonplace event, I merely said that they occurred.

Cool , I love to read too. My dad was navy also. However from all the people I’ve talked to who went there all this crime didn’t occur. My now dead brother even was in the movie. Fuzz wasn’t a NJ term I suppose, I was wondering if you got it from Mod Squad or some show. I am glad they made something up in that field so now nothing else has to be done IMO. Its funny how hippies are always attacked too. I knew my older sibling’s friends & not one is a hippie. Most are very well off or just regular people. People do grow up usually.

You obviously haven't visited the left coast. Aging hippies are all up and down it (including Pelosi, Stark and Boxer) - I notice them most prominently in Seattle, these days, but go anywhere on the left coast - they're all over!

"Fuzz" and "the Man" were derogatory terms invented by black activists of the day (I'm restraining myself from referring to them as Black Panthers - many black activists of the 60's were not Black Panthers!)

I’m doing well, finally recovering from a really nasty cough I’ve had for a month now. Every part of me, inside and out, hurt because of the hacking I was doing. Dialysis is going very well.
