I wish Mr. Mclintock could read points #2 and #5 in my profile, but I doubt he'd understand them.

You slipped. That sort of ad hominem remark reveals your bias. Say what you will, McClintock is a very bright guy. If he understands your points he might still disagree with them. But to imply he is too stupid to even understand them is absurd. Yours is the kind of tactic that the left uses all the time.

Maybe one of these days I will, like you, default to a simpler, non-PhD type job and find the time to select sufficient on-line references that make my case. Until then, I guess I will remain a skeptic until I maybe get seduced by the megabucks the pushers of anthropogenic global warming get for doing studies that generate web links that make the case for getting more megabucks.

My statement reflected the fact that he's not a climate scientist. I should have said "I doubt he'd try to understand them."

It'd be great if I could be proven wrong, and that he'd try, and that he would understand them. Then maybe he'd stop making inacccurate statements in public.
