It will be very interesting to see how the media covers this. They can’t ignore it, but it will probably go something like this:

The controversial portly cigar-smoking Rush Limbaugh, who smeared the troops and who was arrested for drug use 3 years ago, and who is known for his hate radio broadcasts, and who calls women “feminazis” and nags, sold a letter from Congress today for three million dollars. The letter is to be delivered in a Halliburton case to the successful bidder.
No doubt Rush will meet final bid amount, however, did any one listen to his Thursday’s show? He stated that some audience members had voiced concern that some one might put in a bid of 20 million. He said that even if some one placed a 20 million dollar bid and previous bid amount was $131,100 that the current bid would only go up the next $100 increment (or $131,200). However, if there are 2 or more people wishing to up the bidding, all one has to do is continue to bid up until he matches or exceeds maximum amount other bidder has entered. The person(y***t)who bid $2,100,100 shows up twice. Their 1st entry was at 04:12:55 PDT today, their 2nd shows up at 07:13:29 PDT. The latest entry indicates that they had 3 hrs to think things over and to up their maximum bid amount (probably up to 5 mil).
I honestly hope the winner bid is sincere about paying up, however, you can’t help but wonder. Rush kinda put Reid and company against the wall when he challenged all 41 to match the winning bid. The left will do just about anything to make Rush look bad, and if this is the case, I hope it backfires on them.
