Yeah right!...and that’s why nine truck drivers disappeared from the pile up in that tunnel near L.A. that killed 3.

......they didn't "dissapear", they just went to the DMV to get another drivers license, since they were done with the one they were using when they stacked into the tunnel.

What is guaranteed at the top doesn’t necessary filter down to working level. What about the open borders? Egads!

If the Teamsters had even an ounce of Mojo left, they would control harbor trucking, which would be a VERY powerful force,

but, lo and behold, harbor trucking is handled by thousands of independent Central American truckers, mostly illegal with expired green cards. They live on the streets in their trucks, are overworked and begging for enough line haul to pay for the obscenely overpriced fuel and some raggedy hand me down rig held together with duct tape and bailing wire.

Teamsters should revise their name to Hamsters IMO.

all they are anymore is a benefits package for companies that can afford it

“U.S. assures safety of Mexican trucks”

Yea, right.

See the article on that illegal w/tuberculosis who has crossed over N times - where N is a large number.

I’m very worried about the fact that there does not appear to be a measurable IQ amongst either party. Perhaps Jefferson’s conjecture that we should have a revolution every so often is correct.

Each truck’s country of origin remained a mystery

I think the average trooper is smart enough to notice Mexican license plates.

It's a wonder that the people who staged this little demo didn't cherry pick a defective US origin truck to fail the test, so they could tell us how much safer Mexican trucks are...

Let's see, autoworkers, roofers, landscapers, truckers, our gov't has sucessfully lowered the wages of just ahout every labor job in the U.S.

And with the H1-b visa program they have lowered the wages of engineers, and priced many citizen engineers out of the market.

They probably thought of it, and dismissed it :-)

Why bright students no longer spend 100,000+ grand to get an engineering degree.

Bush junior will be remembered less fondly because he has done more damage.
