And when you find yourself agreeing with that stopped clock more than twice a day, it’s not the clock . . . .

and our companies competitive at the same time," Mrs. Peters said. Lower wages for truckers. Let's see, autoworkers, roofers, landscapers, truckers, our gov't has sucessfully lowered the wages of just ahout every labor job in the U.S.

Bush administration Cabinet members joined Mexican officials yesterday to assure the public that Mexican trucks are safe to drive on U.S. highways and to promote increased trade between the two countries. When was the last time Bush put on a dog & pony show supporting Americans or, gasp, his few remaining conservative supporters?

Here is the real question. Which RINO Bush will be remembered less fondly by the base in twenty years? I think the Mexican Bush will be remembered less fondly than the New Tax Bush.

Bush 43 will definitely go down as the most anti-American president in US history. He is now the exact polar opposite of our founding fathers

Which RINO Bush will be remembered less fondly by the base in twenty years? GWB will be seen as a Trumanesque man of principle in twenty years.
Eight years of HRC fecklessness will ensure it. ;)

U.S. assures safety of Mexican trucksAnd the check is in the mail, Clinton won't *** in your mouth and Kongress will still love you in the morning.
I never thought that I'd agree with a union position on anything, but I'm tending to agree with this one. Particularly since it was a MD trooper performing the inspection. Maryland bureaucrats (including the armed ones) are some of the best money can buy.

The Teamsters likely won't take all of this lying down. And they have a long history of playing hardball.
As much as I detest our immigration non-policy, I hope that some poor Jose' doesn't end up dead, leaving a widow and orphans...

It is all moot now according to Senator Cornyn's office in D.C..
But you are correct.
There will be no funding for the program this year, however thanks to the efforts of Senator Cornyn and others like him. Thank God we have at least one Texan in office that isn't like GW!

It's all very simple, really.
He and his daddy simply are globalists. I winced when I heard George I throw the term "New World Order" around during his campaign.
Anyone who knows anything about the history of the 20th century would have had the same sick feeling when they heard that phrase...

That’s interesting. You imply that you know about the program. So why did you ask about insurance and liability?

I bet if an inspection were done on each truck, a vast number will be turned back... and I wonder if drug-sniffing dogs would be part of that inspection?

I didn't when I first posted. In-between that post and reading yours I talked with a young man in the good Senators office and got the information I then posted.
Is that an adequate answer?

Bush Admin woraking hard to impoverish American truck drivers. So blatant.
