Ya know I rarely hear any freepers complain that Ann Coulter is popular just because she is pretty.

So now a man whom some of us feel has the right qualities to be our next leader and happens to be handsome we get all this flak.

I am going to pay closer attn to those critical of Mitt and see if they actually address specific issues other than he is handsome, Mormon or has changed his mind on issues over his life time criticism.

Good point.

I agree! Most ‘Fredheads’ just don’t ‘get it’. As I’ve stated in previous posts, FRED THOMPSON IS A LOSER IN EVERY WAY. How many more fires does he need lit under his butt? He doesn’t exude confidence. He didn’t even show up in N.H. And as much as I admire Rudy, there’s just too much personal baggage associated with him. IMHO, Mitt Romney is the best presidential candidate that the GOP has that could DEFEAT HILARY, who will most likely get the DEM nomination. Mitt could debate circles around her...he’s extremely smart, knowledgeable, is conservative, is tough on terror and has exemplary family values. The GOP needs a candidate who has the best chance of a Clinton defeat...that is KEY.

A hearty amen to that!

I have nothing against Fred Thompson - I think he’s probably a really nice guy, but I think he’s just going through the motions. Why? I don’t know. I seriously don’t think he cares one bit if this whole charade doesn’t work out.

Maybe he IS doing it for his wife. That seems like the only plausible reason.

For one thing, Romney is the only Republican who can debate Hillary on health care with credibility. That’s for starters.

Because he passed socialized medicine and Hillary couldn't. Right.

This is one of most deceptive, lying firsthand reports of any event I’ve ever seen posted on FR.

You’re living in Bizarro-World. Also known as Romney-World.
