However, from the rhetoric around here, you get the idea that only politicians who promise to end abortion are acceptable.
That determination is primarily because of 20+ years of Republican control with precious little to show for it. The more exasperated the people become, the more firm their demand. To meet that demand with candidates who are for, or minimally against abortion is not the way to smooth things over.
And it's my view that a Hillary presidency will put off the reversal of Roe v. Wade by thirty years.
That view is predicated by the supposition that the Republicans will appoint better judges- A supposition with very little in the way of supporting evidence, IMHO.
