I spent 4 years in the Navy in the early sixties. I said “sorry” when I posted...

BabyGene..You have not offended me nor do you need to say you are sorry for thinking prison if you saw me in person. I was just giving you good advice. Thank you for serving in the navy, my dad did too & he hates the fact I have tattoo's. Its all good . ~P~

Feeds along the Rio Grande eh? Well you can’t build the wall now because it will disturb this highly endangered species. (just wait)

I was in the Nav in the eighties.

I made a point of not getting tattoos when I saw the nauseatingly washed-out, blurred, greenish tats on the venerable retirees at the commissary and exchange.

Tattoos are not forever. They age faster than we do.

I know all about them. Ink has changed since my dad’s tattoos. I use sun screen & have on mine since the day I got the first one. Mine have never stretched through 4 pregnancies nor have they really faded too much. If you expose them to the sun they will fade. It also depends on how deep the needle goes in too. I’ve seen ugly blurred faded ones . I like mine & if you didn’t know I had them you wouldn’t guess I did. If you take care of them they will age better then if you don’t.
