Yes indeed I had to check out early and quickly. Had to drive into Manhattan to get Mr.FF into my car, which he locked the keys into. I was driving our 19-year-old conversion van with my heart in my throat the entire way in. Of course Mr.FF owes me big-time.

Hi and thank you for trying to help me. I did switch to Headers only instead of the other choice and FReerepublic main page still comes up with just title, date, who posted and who the poster last posted to.
There is no excerpt of the thread and I have never seen the format come up with who posted and who they last posted to.
Any other suggestion or idea what I could have changed a preference to cause this would be greatly appreciated cause I am going crazy over here.

Thank you for your help. I just checked my history and previously the history read Freerepublic latest articles Now it says Freerepublic latest comments. I think that could be it do you know how I go back to latest articles instead of latest comments.
I have my settings on Browsing message body and teasers yes.
I would appreciate if you could let me know what you think.
I just go to the Free Republic home page and click on latest articles.
If you look at the top right corner, there should be two options, threads and messages. Click on threads.
