    I seem to recall someone else around 1938 saying that if he got some territory that it would be his last demand. Didn’t work in ‘38 and it ain’t gonna work now.

    Just as an aside, I appreciate the Bush administration’s low-key approach to these talks. The Clinton people (and their friends in the media) would have treated every press release from this conference like it was the next Magna Carta.
