No it’s not.
And he supports amnesty.
She was on Hannity last night dissing all the candidates except Huckabee. Even Sean acted surprised.
No. He does not support amnesty. He opposed the amnesty bill that was defeated by the Senate in June. PUBLIC RECORD. A “nanny statist” would not hold the same positions that Huckabee does. Read through the link below.
Here is his position - QUOTE:
“I opposed the amnesty bill that was defeated by the Senate in June. I support the $3 billion that Congress recently appropriated for border security. These funds will be used to train and deploy 23,000 more agents, add four drone airplanes, build 700 miles of fence and 300 miles of vehicle barriers, and erect 105 radar and camera towers. They will be used to end “catch and release” by providing money to “catch and detain” those caught entering illegally and to crack down on those who enter legally, but overstay their visas. These border security provisions will stem the tide of illegals, which is what we must do before we can turn the tide and deal with those who are already here. Before you fix the damage in your house caused by a leaking roof, you stop the leak, which is what this legislation will do.”

You seem to think my beef with Huckabee is because he’s a Christian? My candidate is also a Christian. He’s pro-life and has delivered 4000 babies with his own hands. My candidate has never voted for a tax increase or for an unbalanced budget. My candidate can also beat Obama or Clinton because while they continue to support the war in Iraq, my candidate does not. And unlike Huckabee, my candidate isn’t a statist.
Actually, he is opposed to amnesty.
Both McCain and Huckabee spoke in favor of the DREAM act.
Yes, you are certainly correct. He did say he would sign one if it were sent to him. I'm just saying that as far as I can determine it's not actually true, (as many people are claiming), that Huckabee has "called for a national smoking ban".
By the way, have any of the other Republican candidates to date promised they would veto a national smoking ban if one were sent to them as President?
I saw the program and she was NOT dissing Romney. I didn’t hear her say anything about Huckabee, but if she did, it was NOT her only positive response. She responded positively when asked about both Hunter and Romney. Why would you want to put that story about her dissing Romney on here when it is NOT true?
He will not get my vote.
Mr. Huckabee also stated in that interview that it took the chief executive’s (his) personal involvement to get it done. I have not heard any other GOP candidate say that they would veto or be in favor of such national legislation, nor have I heard them being asked. I am taking the position that they have not been asked, because I believe we surely would have heard about it since we are living in this time with the internet and the 24-hour news cycle. The bottom-line is that he said he is in favor of it and he would sign it, and his record indicates it and cannot be disputed. We in Ohio are living under this type of legislation and there are a lot of unhappy people here.
Huckabee is responsible for the Mexicos new consulate in Little Rock. He left office with most of the good citizens of Arkansas cursing his name.
I've been where you are. Way back when Mike was a nobody from Hope Arkansas running for Lt/Gov, I physically campaigned my little heart out for him.
Never again. Never!
sw
With you that means he gets three votes, but I wouldn't count on old bill.
You see, when 28 million evangelical Christians sat home in 2006, we handed the keys of power in Congress to those who hate us.
So therefore it makes sense to do it again? (If you read the article, Janet does not say 'stay home', to her credit).
GOP lady is 100% correct.
There is nothing that comes to mind that nauseates me more than all those gestapo style posters hung at the entrance to every building with the little snitch line number on them.
Absolutely disgusting.
No to the Huckster, no to Romney (pushed through a ban in his state plus got mandatory health insurance pushed through), no to McPain.
