Same here, I was somewhat supportive of Thompson early on. But on closer look, he is no better than the Rudy McRomney bunch he was supposed to save us from. Thompson has been way over sold. He is destined to disappoint.

You know what, I love Duncan Hunter. He was my Rep. for many years. So, I’m not going to attempt to denigrate him here, as his supporters and mitt’s supporters have done to FRed. Some of the things I see posted here against FRed are far more disgusting than what you would expect to see on du or kos, let alone on one of the premier Conservative forums in our Country. Dis-f’n-gusting.
Facts are facts though, and Duncan is just not POTUS material right now, for several reasons, and they are self caused, too. But, the biggest reason I can’t support him, at this time is, he’s too much of an in your face guy. Exactly what we don’t need right now. Look, he can’t even get his own constituency to support him, do you honestly think he can command the support needed to win the primary? And, if by some miracle he did, the beast would eat his cookies in the general.
So, do we recognize a good thing? Sure we do, but we also recognize reality. Sad, though it may be.
