I just got home from visiting with Mr. Grumpy.

He’s weak but not as weak as he was a couple of days ago. We actually went for a long walk this evening.

He has very nice nurses so when he returns to FR don’t let him fool you. They are taking very good care of him and they’re also very sweet and adorable. One of them even sings softly as she takes his blood pressure and temperature. The other one has a wonderful smile and sense of humor.

Without a doubt, the behavior of these nurses is just about to cause humble to blow a gasket. Poor humble: if only those nurses would be mean to him, then he could be grumpy back at them! Watching him with them is sheer joy!

I printed this thread and took it for him to read. He was very glad to see it and he told me to be sure to post that he DID NOT get misty-eyed when reading it, but that his eyes were watering because of mold in the walls of that old hospital building.

He appreciates all of the prayers and thoughts and posts to this thread very much! Just before I left he listed all of the folks who are praying for him... including all of you dear people here at FR.

Then he got grumpy again.

Ahhhh. Looks like we’re getting our little stinker back.
