Where have all the cowboys gone? (Rush has a GREAT parody to that tune, lamenting the same theme)

Reagan was forced to fund many of the core islamic entities that we fight today due to the Cold War. He was a great man at the perfect time IMO. The mindset required to fight communism and islamism(sp?) cannot be identical IMO, of course.

Did you make that up yourself, or is that an actual poster that I can buy? I would really like to buy that ASAP. It would make a great stocking stuffer. Also I would like to commission it painted on the side of my house.
To: truemiester
It would be nice, then, if we could all get behind Duncan Hunter who may just happen to be more like Reagan than Reagan was.

“Today my favorite, Fred Thompson ducked the Washington Press corps.”
Huh?

Proud to say I met both these great Americans!
I met Governor Reagan at a campaign rally in Fountain Valley, CA's Mile Square Park when he was campaigning for president and I met John Wayne at the boat parade in Newport Beach, CA.
I'm generally not star-struck and have met many celebrities but I was on both occaisions.

And John Wayne... but he deserves his own tread! Bttt!
To: truemiester
Uh, "John Wayne" was an actor who played characters. They weren't REAL.
We'll do better sticking to actual people.

They only make a Ronald Wilson Regan once every couple of lifetimes, and we’ve had ours...
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but only pygmies who might be able to tie his shoe laces will be seen far into the foreseeable future.
To: MadMitch
John Wayne was a deeply patriotic American in real life. That’s a fact, not Hollywood BS.

There should not be a comma after “heathen.”

I dont blame FDT skipping the wash.piss corpse. They were alot more civil back then as opposed to now.He just needs to talk to the people and screw the wash. insiders.
