she should have stood her ground and complied with orders. If she took off her blouse, then took off her bra, and then took her sweet time putting her blouse back on, she may be the last to get asked to remove a bra. All the other women in the courthouse would go nuts and a law would be passed for bidding it. Remember men make laws and then women change them.

I will go to bed tonight feeling so much safer and secure knowing that my Federal Government is keeping me safe from the threat of under wire bras.

If only my government would expend as much effort to secure our boarders as they do to secure our bras…

...one of the security guards said, "'That's a girl,'" Plato said.

Merely a statement of facts.

"When I walked through, the gentleman said, "'Do you have an underwire bra on?'." Plato said. "I said, 'Yeah.' He said, 'You have to remove it.' "

You mean to tell me a federal courthouse in Coeur d'Alene can't come up with a way to screen a woman with an underwire bra without having her remove the bra? That's just damn stupid.

They couldn’t take any chances. It might have been a bullet bra.

I’d ping the FReeper who sells them, but I can’t remember his handle.

“After I got through the metal detector and waited for my bra to come through the conveyor belt, one of the security guards said, “’That’s a girl,’” Plato said. She thought the guard was making fun of her.

He was. The guard is a moron.

All of you making fun of this need your heads examined. I am sure you would not be laughing had she had a gun hidden there and used it on someone in the court.

My first question would have been: "Where is your search warrant? tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, just waiting for the first apologist to say we don't have the right to enter a Federal courthouse just like they tell us we don't have a right to fly!

I won this argument at a county courthouse using the following:

Guard: Place you items on the conveyor.

Me: Where is your search warrant?

Guard: We don't need one as we have been doing this for years.

Me: Well then you have been violating the 4th amendment for years.

Guard: I cannot let you pass without being searched.

Me: Then you have to inform the head of the jury duty system that you are preventing me from entering.

Guard: Why don't you do what I do when I get a Jury Summons, just tear it up?

Me: Because, unlike you, I believe in obeying the law.

Guard: Go on through.

The guards should of performed a thorough manual check of her upper body. That’s what I’d do.

(snip....) yesterday, the U.S. Marshal's Service announced it was adding a changing room -- so people with garments that include metal bits could take them off in private.

Marshal Patrick McDonald in Boise says, "We don't want anyone to be embarrassed when they come to the courthouse."
