Well said! I wish I could fit all that into my tagline!
Judging by the attitudes of some I honestly wonder how much longer my country is going to stand. I’ve said it before & I know I’ll say it again, but if I had known back years ago what I know now I sure would have appreciated this country a lot more. Funny how you can take things for granted until you see them being taken away. I would give up every last piece of modern technology to go back.
speaking of invasion

EXERPT
“The following report is a wake up call for all American citizens - we are being invaded and California seems to already have been overrun ...
A rally took place in (August 26th) Maywood, California near Los Angeles at a U.S. post office concerning illegal immigrants and counter-protestors took down the American flag that traditionally flies in front of a post office, stamped on it and replaced it with a Mexican flag and the police just stood there, according to witnesses and a video of the event.
Police officers later came to the pole to remove the flag and the protestors then threw bottles and rocks at them, as reported by a radio listener by the name of Sandra to the Terry Anderson Show, KRLA in Los Angeles.”
Most US Citizens know what flag etiquette is all about. The citizenship test these days is greatly reduced, now has only one question, do you know where the welfare office is? And the question comes in 50 languages, with an attached map and a SSN template for you to randomly pick a few digits to complete.
The responsibilities and duties of being a US Citizen are no longer defined, nor required.
OK, I’m curious, what is the meaning of “Top?”
I sure can, truman. Remember, I said CIVIL codes, not CRIMINAL codes. For instance, check out the codes of most PUBLIC universities in the United States: they prohibit the display of the Confederate flag. Not a crime, but a civil prohibition.
Okay, but not an enforceable law, just as there is not enforceable law against flying the Mexican or British flag above the US flag.
Bad taste, yes but not against the law.
There are probably more than a million reasons of why we call someone “Top”.
Hope someone can answer..
I’m with you buddy . All the way .
No, B-Chan, you're wrong. OldSmaj made me proud today that there are still REAL MEN in this country, albeit a diminishing number it seems, who will stand up for WHAT IS RIGHT!

What the hell are you trying to say here? That we shouldn't obey the law if we don't feel like it?
Exactly, so what is your problem with the vet's expression of his freedoms?
However, theft is theft and it does not matter if one steals a car or a flag, it is still against to law.
Fine, I'd make restitution for the property ... in pesos. See how useful the guy found them...
Just because he may technically have the right to fly another flag above the United States flag (in the US mind you) doesn't make it right.
You could also argue that by removing the offensive display the vet was actually doing the businessman a favor. There are a whole lot of people that would take even greater, ah, "offense" at such a display and said business man and/or his establishment, employees, and customers might be in some danger. So the vet was simply preventing an ugly situation.
Or how about this consideration. In many places you cannot fly the Confederate flag (at all) because it is offensive to some people. Fine, flying the Mexican flag is offensive to me, particularly displaying it above the US flag. See where the "thin-skinned, lets not offend anyone" mindset gets you? Pretty soon there will be no displays of any kind allowed. No nativities, no flags, no team logos, no historical displays, zip.
The madness has to stop somewhere, and common decency and respect for the flag of the country you are in is a very good place to start. If the businessman wants to have his own little slice of Mexico fine, he can set up shop - in Mexico. This is the USA.
Anyone who thinks it is ok to fly a flag of another country above the US flag is a traitor, period, end of statement.”
Absolutely.
The people who believe there is no punishment for flying other countries flags above the Stars and Stripes believe only the govt. can punish someone for it, but the liquor store owner lost two flags and probably some business.
Exactly..... well said and ditto!
LOL
What the hell are you trying to say here? That we shouldn’t obey the law if we don’t feel like it?”
WWell, hardly any of our elected officials or appointed officials feel like they have to obey the law.
What!!!!!!!!????????
