Let’s be honest there are idiots back home that doesn’t understand what you are doing and will anything they can to bad mouth what you are doing.

Without men like you in the US military there would be no freedoms that Australia, Britain, Germany, France, Japan or dozens of other countries has today. Yes, there was descent even during WWII and every war we fought, the difference is now our marines are able to read their crap through the net.

None of these people would be able to say anything nasty about you with out what you and marines like yourself has done. Freedom has its price and you paid in your blood (hopefully not in your blood) and sweat, none of these people know or understand the price of freedom they never did and most of them never will.

No amount of thanks will ever be enough for your service.
