Still wtg for prop tax relief and insurance reform. If there are crickets chirping, CC is hob knobbing with celebs out of state instead of being “the people’s governor.” He’s going to Brazil soon, probably to learn how to do the cha-cha.

We are the little people, we're not Bill Clinton or Brad Pitt. Just pay your taxes and insurance reform? LOL We are heading into holiday party season. We won't see Charlie Crist do anything substantive and critical for the State of Florida until after New Years.
He'd rather hob knob than do his job.

Crist is a winy RINO.
He’s had the state of Florida (the taxpayers) become the insurer of first resort for hurricanes; the fund will go bankrupt with the next big hurricane and he’ll then campaign for re-election as a liberal, blaming the feds for not bailing out the debt he put on Florida’s taxpayers.
It is idiocy for the Florida state government to refuse to recognize that it was not bad economics that insurance premiums for hurricane coverage in Florida were going to go up - more big hurricanes recently requires increases in insurance reserves or too little reserves next time.
Instead, Crist just put the taxpayers on the hook for it. How can that work? Only if Florida taxes go way up. What’s the difference between higher taxes and higher insurance premiums? Higher taxes are higher and controlled by politics, not economics.

Is that what they call it? I figured he already knew how.
Next, Miller beer is going to sponsor his reelection party.

Tallahassee is the last place you’ll ever find CC. He pit stops there but that’s it.

Crist is like Gov Perry from Texas... former democrat who slithered in and pretended to be conservative by mouthing the "Christian values" and fiscal responsibilities..blah blah blah....
these rectum Republicans need to be voted out and never allowed to darken the door of a Republican precinct.

NN, what is the viability of solar power setups in hurricane zones like the entire state? You may recall I've had a significant investment into solar equipment on the roof for several years. (I didn't wait until moving into the Governor's Mansion to try alternative energy). I did it before it was fashionable.
Although we've never had a direct hit from a hurricane, none of the three solar pool heaters in my neighborhood survived the past six years of tropical storms. I paid a good sum of money to have the tattered remains of the solar pool mats hauled off the roof two years ago.
The solar water heater has done pretty well, and the PV solar panels are still intact. Of course, I paid another small fortune to have them all removed and reinstalled when the roof was replaced.
To answer your question, I don't have a clue whether the rest of the solar equipment will hold up in a major hurricane. fyi--only the solar water heater has paid for itself over the years. The solar electricity setup was far too expensive to ever recoup the investment.

Evidently that is what Republicans of the State of Florida wannted because they chose him over Gallagher in the primary.
When I voted for him in the general election, it was to do all I could to keep the Democrat out.
The way things are going now I don’t know if it made any difference.

Anytime Bill, or Hillary for that matter, Clinton praises you,in my opinion, it is not a good thing.
To me it signifies that you are just as crooked and despicable as they are.

The panels hold up to wind and some objects. When you break one, you have to wait for replacements. I have had them on boats. I took to having extras.
As an engineer, I know new thin film pv panels are coming, allowing all windows and surfaces to be potential energy sources. This PV farm is a waste, and when that comes out it will be an obsolete boondoggle, and yet another reason why we shouldn't give the government enough money to dole out in special interest welfare grants.

The megawatts are going to be less than nuke or other forms of current sources of elec power.
My brother has solar panels to heat the pool and when he gets a new roof, he's tossing them cuz he's sick of the roof leaking around the panels.
