I agree Liz.
“You haven’t seen the last of Eric Von Zipper!”
“Josh Bernstein, federal policy director for the National Immigration Law Center, predicted DREAM Act supporters eventually will prevail.
“The politics is right and the commitment is there,” Bernstein said. “We’re not giving up.””
Neither are we Mr. Sleaseball!
Yes, we do need to stay alert!
NumbersUSA reporting that Durbin is still pushing this, even if it’s voted on by itself and not part of any other bill. Also Harry Reid is saying they’ll be a vote before the end of the year....we just have to keep a watch...also, weren’t there also plans to add this to the AgJobs bill as well? If so, we’ll have to watch that too.
“”The politics is right and the commitment is there,” Bernstein said. “We’re not giving up.””
Neither are we, Bernstein.

“Don’t you love it when you make a difference?”
Pffft! These SOBs didn’t get the message on the last round back in June? Ought to lynch everyone of these traitors!!
Absolutely true but somewhat understandable.
Dems (Liberals) see themselves as heroes and saviors and will never stop trying to convince themselves and others of that. The Politics of “saviorism” is an all encompassing passion that consumes them completely because for them, it literally defines who they are.
Most conservative politicians don’t have anywhere near that level of fanatical commitment because for them politics is either seen as true public service representing the will of the people (The good conservatives and unfortunately some RINOs) or as a stepping stone to success through contacts and horse trading (The bad con-servatives and RINOs). Either way, conservatives don’t see generally themselves as “saviors” (Thought there are exceptions) so they don’t regard their actions as “doing the lords work”.
It is a very special person that is willing to go through the miserable process of running for political office and also has a through understanding of the real issues and the gravity of how they affect us. I would say Sessions of Alabama is certainly one.
Note that I did say somewhat understandable and NOT ACCEPTABLE.
