Actually I thought he was in serious need of some grooming and wardrobe counseling. Perhaps the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy crew could do a make over.

Blankley: "This is a telling example of the state of left-wing thought today."

Yet, he can't seem to find any other examples to cite. Seems weak.

The idea that the Lefties are in love with Islamic fundamentalists is pretty strained.

I think Tony feels Bush haters have found a fellow traveler

Spend 10 minutes or so on Kos and get back to me. Dip your toe in the Democratic Underground website. He simply didn’t have room to site all of the examples. I think his point isn’t that Lefties are in love with Islamic fundamentalists, but that they are so involved in their Bush derangement syndrome that they find themselves siding with the Islamic fundamentalists because they perceive them to be a lesser evil than Bush.

No - they’re for real -— that’s why they’re dangerous and should not be underestimated. We’re NOT dealing with rational people.

It constantly amazes me how many FReepers spend so much time on those awful sites.

I never go there unless there's a specific thread pointing to them from here at FR.

There’s really no reason to go to Kos or DU. The company of morons is not to be pursued.

The derangement is also easily observable with the increasing numbers of Hollyweird personalities journeying to Venezuela to suck up to Chavez. Or the ones that went to Cuba to rub shoulders or beards with Castro. Liberals eagerly extend their bare necks to ruthless dictators who would like nothing more than to take away their piles of loot. Or throw them in prison.

"not to be pursued"

I believe you might have a very good point. I haven't visited DU for several years now, but every time I did go there, afterwards I felt just little less intelligent. As well as slightly mucky.
