Kinda sounds like a cross between Jimmy Carter and the Rockefeller clan. :-(

LOL. I have never thought about how close a Carter could be with a Rockefeller. Both clans want to give away the future.

I agree, I think we all want President Bush to slam his fist on the lectern and let loose on these evil people.

I'd love to see Bush remember how Christ was overturning the tables of the moneychangers in the temple.

at least I can pray for that to happen.

Carter wants to give it away.
Rockefellers want to get richer and more powerful in the process.

A dangerous combo.

Malaria is another common killer. In some countries, malaria takes as many lives as HIV/AIDS -- the vast majority of them children under the age of five years old. Every one of these deaths is unnecessary, because the disease is preventable and treatable. The world knows what it takes to stop malaria -- bed nets and indoor spraying and medicine to treat the disease. Two years ago, America launched a $1.2 billion malaria initiative. Other nations and the private sector are making vital contributions, as well. I call on every member state to maintain its focus, find new ways to join this cause, and bring us closer to the day when malaria deaths are no more.

Stopping malaria doesn't take huge amounts of money!

End the ban on DDT

Environmentalism kills

Yep, good speech by the President, loved when Cuba walked out.

But it seems that some here think the President is the enemy, Ahmadinejad and the Dims have company, lol!

There is too much money involved with the chemical companies to end the ban on DDT.

I have a brother who was a crop duster in the 1960’s using DDT. At that time the pilots were given a health check up at the end of the season paid for by the government. Never once did DDT show up in his bloodstream and he still has the letters proving this.

It is his opinion that the chemical companies are the ones who instigated the ban by the EPA.

The speech to Congress after 9/11 was funny? I thought it was historical and great.

The speech at the National Cathedral on September 14 was a great and historical speech.

The second Inaugural was historical and great. I also like the first Inaugural.

There have been more.

President Bush’sd early legacy depends on our fate in Iraq and Afghanistan. He’s got the Dems in Congress at bay over pulling out the troops, but had Obama and Hillary over to clue them in on what is going down so they don’t box themselves in if they become President.

Like Lincoln, Bush took a while to find a good general; and hopefully David Patreaus is the man who will keep us on a productive path there now.

We can’t fight them all, so getting less fanatic Muslims to schism with al Qaeda is a reasonable strategy. Just the other day bin Laden’s radical mentor split with Osama over his indiscriminant killing of civilians, elderly, women and children. So religion of peace may be a mantra to help instill the idea of reformation among Islamic peoples.

I admit he’s given a couple of good speeches. Your original post said “so many”. Sorry. But that’s simply not true.
