Yes but he gave the woman last night that the poll was a good cross section.

Second point stands, even more so. It’s CBS— what do you expect?

Either that or there’s a typo somewhere.

“It’s CBS— what do you expect?”

Heh, exactly what I saw. You know even liberals are reading that crap and calling BS.

Either CBS is trying to “teach” people with lies or CBS is running a bogus game show...or both. Probably both. ;)

According to the Power of 10 website, they use Rasmussen Reports for their data collecting and processing.

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/powerof10/community/index.php?ep=12&id=15

The only problem is that Rasmussen reports posted the results of the poll on its own website, and the *ACTUAL* number was 36%:

“Currently, 36% of American adults take an entirely different view and believe that the troops should remain in Iraq until the mission is complete.”

http://rasmussenreports.com/public_content/current_events/top_stories/59_want_u_s_troops_home_from_iraq

I sent an email to Rasmussen and to Newsbusters asking them to address the discrepancy. I didn’t feel like wasting my time emailing CBS.

So C “BS” gets caught lying again...

“Currently, 36% of American adults take an entirely different view and believe that the troops should remain in Iraq until the mission is complete

If this is the correct answer, that means the girl on the show got shafted! She guessed between 16-36% which means she would have gotten $100,000.

If I had been the contestant and they threw me that percentage, my response probably would've ended up on the cutting room floor.

If she missed out on the $100,000 because CBS lied about the polling results, she ought to sue CBS citing Rasmussen’s numbers as “proof” that she was screwed.

Instead of $100,000, she only got $1,000!

I can't believe that someone she knows wouldn't have checked that answer out, considering that even Drew Carey looked like he was shocked at the low percentage.

Any attorneys on here want to make an easy buck?

Prove that CBS either lied or failed to actually use the polling data they claimed they used, and you win.
